We previously had a Bosch and needed to replace since the motor went out after 6 years. The Kitchen Aid was on sale and had features we liked, so we ordered it and had installed. We could not be more pleased: the Kitchen Aid is very quite, quitter than the Bosch was and actually dies a much better job of Cleaning. We had installed in early May, so have been using over a month. Hoping it will last longer than the Bosch we had. It does a better job of cleaning than any dishwasher we have . had. Also the racks are fantastic, they roll out easily and have to be careful, so we do not jar, since they move easily and without any binding like our previous dishwasher. Extremely very made.

My old KitchenAid dishwasher was ten years old and needed a $500 repair. I decided to get a new one and opted for the least-expensive KitchenAid that was black (this model). It runs even quieter than my old one and uses the convenient detergent packs instead of powders or gels (which also may be used with the unit).

Overall it is a great dishwasher. Washes dishes well and is very quiet. However, it doesn't dry the dishes up too well. I see water dripping from the ceiling of the dishwasher and dishes even if I use "extended dry" and "heated dry."

Purchased this KitchenAid dishwasher as a replacement to my old one. KitchenAid products are first class and clean looking. Dishwasher is quiet and doesn't even sounds like it is running. Great Purchase. You can't go wrong with KitchenAid! Must Have!

Really like this dishwasher, but still trying to figure out the rinse aid quantity. The place marked "Rinse Aid Fill" seems to be a bottomless pit. I'm using MUCH more rinse aid that the product says I should use, but the dishwasher does dry well.

Dishwasher cleans very well. Washing times are extended. Much quieter than previous GE profile. Also has larger load capacity. Very happy and no problems cleaning and drying.

excellent dishwasher, so quiet I put my ear up against it to be sure it was running. Kati T. was extremely helpful in pointing out all the positive and negatives. Spoke to her several times before I bought it - she was very pleasant and patient with me.

No complaints about the cleaning, loading, drying but we were hoping it would be quieter than our last dishwasher. It plays its little repetitive song that is not terrible but lasts throughout the washing cycle.

This is a very sleek dishwasher. The stainless steel surface prevents finger prints from showing up on the surface. It’s so quiet, I have to stand next to it be sure it’s running.

This dishwasher replaced one that was 30+ yrs old. It is so quiet you need to be right next to it to hear it running, the old one was so noisy we had to use it when no one was around. Not only that it does a fantastic job cleaning the dishes.

Very nice dishwasher. Very quiet, easy to use and super easy to install. All you need to buy is a waterline. Very happy with purchase.

Cleans well. Easy to use. Control buttons are hard to see so would prefer one with controls on top but not enough to pay the difference.

I purchased this dishwasher almost a year ago and I have to say, it really does the job and does it well. It's so quiet that you can barely hear it running. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher for those in the market for a new one.

This has to be one of the quietest dishwashers I've had. The outside doesn't show fingerprints or water marks. The inside is just as good, stainless inside and out. I love that I can set it to run during the night and it's so quite I don't hear it. It's worth the money.

Great appliance. Gets the job done quietly. I've always had good experience with KichenAid service, so while this dishwasher is new and having no problems, knowing the service is good gives me confidence that this machine will give me years of good service.

Does exactly what a dishwasher is supposed to do: Easy to load, clean and sparkling results, quiet operation.

Dishwasher cleans well. Dries so-so. Pull out storage trays seem flimsy and frequently need an extra push or adjustment to slide back. Settings are difficult to read against the stainless steel background. No fingerprint stainless blends nicely with other older appliances which are black. My old Kitchenaid lasted 21 years. Feel good about this brand. Dishwasher went on sale after I purchased it. Used the price match guarantee. Store credited the difference but credit card company never credited my account. Waiting for the two to work it out so I get credit.

This is an amazing dishwasher, fits more plates/glasses, very quiet and washes off everything well!

PROS: the recessed controls and light on front panel are very good. It is quiet Their is good choice of wash /or/ rinse cycles On Normal wash with heated drying 99% of items are dry CONS : The top rack seems to bind with rubber seal. Don't know how to adjust this because we have carefully level the machine. Normal wash with heated drying does take more than 2 hours
