We bought this dishwasher 2-1/2 years ago. Loved it until it recently stopped cleaning the dishes. Had repair person out and discovered we would need to replace the sump pump and it would cost $495. I am so tired of replacing appliances. It seems that they only last for a couple of years anymore. And we thought KitchenAid was supposed ti be so good.

KitchenAid is more quiet and provide more cleaning options for your dishes.

Chose this dishwasher because the controls are on the front (personal preference) and the brand is considered “good”. It was delivered and installed by husband 3 weeks ago. OMG! It’s amazing. The salesman said we did not have to rinse the dishes, right.... we have grown up washing the dishes before putting them in the Dishwasher. I told the husband “we’ll try this little trick one time and then go back to old habits”. WOW! Baked casserole dishes (enchiladas, lasagna), pot used to make Mac & cheese, plates with egg, serving spoons with lasagna (cheese!!!) come out perfectly clean. It’s amazing. I do more loads now since I’m not hand washing the pots, pans, skillets and casserole dishes but there is a dramatic drop in manual labor on my part. I use the Prowash setting and update the heat setting to just the regular, not extended. Yes the cycle time is ridiculous (3 hrs or so) but per the manual slower cycle equates to less water and energy. I don’t know how that works but am guessing it involves wetting and allowing the soap to sit on the dishes for periods of time. I don’t care how it works, IT’S MAGIC. I’m thrilled.

Pretty, does as it should, great for lazy people who can't wash dishes.

My husband and I purchased this dishwasher from Best Buy in September and had it installed by the 3rd party they employ. The dishwasher came in with damage to the backside but they installed it anyways. We called Best Buy to report the damage and they tried to offer us money off. We asked for it to be swapped out but apparently the model had been discontinued and they were unwilling to upgrade it to the next model. Well since then, because of the damage it has been leaking and has ruined our flooring, cabinets, wall, and granite countertops. It has even leaked into our basement, ruining the ceiling and insulation. Best Buy put in a claim with the installer (XPO) but we have not heard anything back for weeks. Meanwhile the damaged dishwasher has continued to leak in our home. You would like to think that Best Buy would have at least swapped out the dishwasher until the damages were resolved however, that is not the case and the water damage continues. We are now entering month 2 of dealing with this. I'm positive we have mold now in our home that our infant son is breathing. After this experience we will never purchase another appliance from Best Buy nor recommend them to our family or friends.

We have had this dishwasher for less than 2 years. In that time it has been replaced under warranty once and has had major leaking issues that required us to call for repair twice. Don't waste your money.
