After our house flooded with Hurricane Harvey the one thing I was excited about ordering were new appliances. I love the styling, features, and quality of KitchenAid products and was thrilled to purchase the 25.8 Cu. Ft. French Door refrigerator (KRMF706ESS), the beautiful dishwasher with a 3rd rack (KDTE304GPS), the 30" Double Oven with convection (KODE500ESS), and an enormous Microwave with a removable shelf for lots of options (KNHP519ESS) which had a special cherry cabinet built around it. Our kitchen was finally ready, just in time for Christmas 2018. The refrigerator was the first to have issues, with the ice maker leaking, stopping, freezing the entire thing up which had to be thawed with a hair dryer. We replaced the ice container 6/20, motor, seal and shaft 8/20, I/M leaking and stopped cooling on both sides 6/22. In August 2023 the entire fridge had quit working correctly and would have cost over 1K for parts which 'might' have solved the issue. Sadly our wonderful microwave started making a loud noise and quit running October 2023 and the technician gave us the news that the Magnetron shorted, and couldn't be fixed. We have a whole house surge protector so we know it wasn't caused by electrical issues. Now in the summer of 2024 our dishwasher quit working correctly. The motor has died in the main wash assembly. It would cost more than $600 as the entire bottom of the unit must be replaced. Since 3 of our 4 expensive KitchenAid appliances have failed I asked the technician about our very pricy oven which he warned us that if the heating element on the bottom goes out, the removal and repair for it will be astronomical, because of the way it is constructed. I absolutely love these appliances, they were all top notch and had every feature I could ever want, but I can't believe that I have spent over $10,000 and am having to replace 3 of the 4 in less than 6 years!

I had purchased this dish washer from another supplier, it was out of stock at the time , but they promised it in three weeks, that came and gone with two other 4 week delays, I checked on-line for the identical item and found at the Best Buy site, I purchased it and it was delivered three days later for the same on-line price, couldn't be Happier!!!!

I purchased this dishwasher from Best Buy in August 2021. It lasted less than 4 years, which is absurdly short for a dishwasher like this. Very disappointing for a KitchenAid. It started to leak and the touch panel malfunctioned so the dishwasher could not be operated normally anymore. It cleans "ok" - on a par with the Kenmore it replaced. It did not dry well at all even on extra dry settings. All this quite consistent with Consumer Reports findings. Attempting to repair was not cost effective so we opted to replace (with a new dishwasher other than KitchenAid).

This dishwasher is quiet, easy to install and is meeting our needs.

Sleek Looking, quiet, easy to use. Withholding the 5th start because it is noisier than I thought it'd be, particularly at the beginning of the fill cycle.

Despite the high price tag, the control panel stopped working just after 4 years of use and had to be replaced, after which the dishwasher worked another 4 years and all the holders started to break and the dishwasher had to be thrown out. Do not buy!

It’s great! Not as quiet as my last one, but not very loud. It doesn’t dry very well. Even on the dry cycle. Overall happy with it though

So far we really are enjoying our purchase. My wife does not like that the tins are not adjustable but we will learn to deal with that. The installation was smooth.
