Exactly what we expected, dishes being cleaned with barely a discernible noise. We have more room for glasses and other short items on a 3rd (upper) row.

5 years of nothing but trouble and ZERO support from an executive escalation. The initial dishwasher lasted 2 week before flooding my house. The installation crew claimed it was a faulty machine personally I thought it was the installation crew cross threading something because I "thought" KA was known for quality. Fast forward 4-5 years it will have cost 150% more than the unit to repair. Within the first month the soap dispenser broke. Next the wheels fell off the bottom rack and melted on the heating element. The hinges have warped and near impossible to close. It will simply pop back open while washing. The top basket has now collapsed rendering the machine useless. I emailed the executive team and even spoke to a representative for executive escalations. The will NOT stand behind their appliances. They did send someone out to inspect the burning smell and repairs were quoted at ~$1500 of which the offered $0. They did offer me a discount on a new machine but they go on sale all the time so the reality is they still make money selling me a new machine vs making their defective product right or replacing it. BEWARE! KitchenAid no longer stands behind their product nor is it the same quality their products used to be. Complete trash so buyer beware.

So happy with the new dishwasher. The whole process to purchase was so easy and quick. I never left my house! The dishwasher holds more dishes than expected and they are spotless when finished running

I am very happy with Kitchen Aid quality appliances all around and this dishwasher is yet another great product. The black stainless steel is more of a graphite grey, the rugged stainless steel handle and logo really pop against the dark contrast which is sleek and modern. The dishwasher runs so much more quietly than others I have had. The tippy top rack is perfect for clumsy ladles and large serving spoons that would otherwise not fit well in the other two racks. It’s easy to organize dishes, glasses, mugs and bowls of all sizes with the layout of the racks. I took the top grid off the flatware organizer and prefer open sections but that’s a matter of preference and a nice choice to be able to make. Overall, I could not be happier with this dishwasher. BTW, had a new Maytag in my last house from HD and it leaked all over the floor. It never sealed right. I had my kitchen cabinets painted and the steam that always escaped made the paint all around it peel off. Kitchen Aid rocks!

Love this dishwasher!!! Replaced a very old Kitchen Aid unit. This one is so quiet and cleans and dries dishes perfectly. Highly recommend

We love our new dishwasher! The black stainless steel blends in well with our solid black appliances (I was concerned about that!). It is so quiet and does a great job cleaning everything.

Love the third, top rack and utensil trays. Cleanest my dishes have ever been. Love the different wash options to choose from to meet the family’s needs.

Have tried the lower cost dishwashers and they were very disappointing. This dishwasher is quiet, clemas well and is very efficient.

So far I LOVE my Dishwasher!! Super quiet even when you are standing next to it. Does a great job washing the dishes.

So far pleased with the washer and is very quiet. Just two cons in my opinion. First was the price is on the high side, and second the control buttons are way too sensitive.

Great dishwasher, silent, spacious. I wish the cutlery each had bigger slots. My cutlery is too big for the biggest slots. Other than that, we are very happy with this dishwasher.

This one is replacing a Maytag. You can feel the quality difference between the two. The door feels solid on this kitchen aid. It is fairly quiet and has 3 racks that hold a ton of dishes and glasses.

I replaced a 20 year old kitchenaid that was 'top of the line' at the time. I was worried that they "don't make them like they used to" which I have found to be true for many appliances. Not here. This one is unbelievably great. First, the stainless steel finish is immaculate. Not a blemish on it, just an unbelievably classically good looking unit. The knurled handle eliminates finger prints. The unit is OH SO QUIET. I was a bit concerned about that, because Kitchenaid makes some 39db machines. But even at 44db, this machine, is still whisper quiet. Best part is the drying system. The ProDry system uses a heating element AND fan. The fan blows all the hot air around and vents the humidity out the bottom of the door, so the dishes inside get really dry. It also cleans really well. Only downside? In the "normal" wash mode and normal ProDry mode from start to finish is over 3 hours of run time. We usually run ours right before bedtime so it doesn't make a difference. Anyway, GREAT MACHINE.

I have run 2 cycles and the dishes come out very clean.
