Pleased with this Dishwasher

We replaced another dishwasher that quit powering, and did some shopping around before choosing this one. We were looking for something under 48dB due to an open floor plan and really like the 3rd drawer. It holds much more than our previous dishwasher, and the bottom drawer isn't so light that it pops off the track like our previous one.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Put together nice ,but the racks that hold the dishes upright I believe are spaced to far apart 1-3/8" on centers and when dishes are put on rack they can't stand straight enough and than tilt at about a 35 degree angle and than the water flowing through to clean the dishes can't pass thoroughly enough and my dishes are left dirty, also the run cycles almost 3-1/2 - 4 hours long , these days trying to conserve energy and takes too long ...No info on dishwasher never mentioned how long the cycles take either ...

If items are still not getting clean:
1. Water Supply
The water supply valve must be completely open for proper washing and rinsing.
2. Flood Prevention Device
Anti-flood or flood-prevention devices contain a mechanical valve to stop water flow if a set volume or flow rate is exceeded. Improper installation can prevent water entry. Refer to the device's manufacturer's instructions for verification. Some Whirlpool models include a Leak Detection System that alerts the user with a flashing light and initiates a draining cycle if a leak is detected.
3. Rinse Aid Use

4. High-Temperature Wash Option
Consider using the high-temperature wash option, which raises the main wash temperature to improve cleaning for tough, baked-on food. Heavier soil loads may require a heavier cycle. 5. Proper Dish Loading
Correctly loading dishes is crucial for optimal cleaning and drying.
Avoid Overloading: Ensure adequate space for water and detergent circulation to reach all items.
Load at an Angle: Angle items toward the spray arms to promote water runoff and drying performance.
Plastic Items: Load plastic cups, bowls, and mugs on the third-level rack, if available, for the best dry performance and to minimize deformation. Do not place plastic items on the lower rack.

6. Detergent Type
High-quality, pre-measured tablets and packs are recommended for improved performance and are effective at reducing film on dishes. They are suitable for all water hardness and soil levels. The use of rinse aid can minimize the repeated buildup of white film. Always place pre-measured detergents in the main compartment and close the lid.
The Pre-Wash indicator on the dispenser is for powder or gel detergent used in the Pre-Wash cycle (approximately eight cubic centimeters if filled). Detergent added here enters the wash immediately, while detergent in the main dispenser is added during the main wash cycle.
Use automatic dishwasher detergent only, and add it just before starting a cycle.
Fresh automatic dishwasher detergent yields better cleaning results.
Store detergent in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place.
Extremely hard water mineral deposits (15 grains per U.S. gallon or more) can damage the dishwasher and hinder cleaning results. A water softener is recommended for hard water to avoid damage and achieve optimal results. https://youtu.be/OHuSGWnXmSo
7. Dish Soap Contamination
Dish soap creates suds; dishwasher detergent does not. If suds, bubbles, or soap foam are present, turn off the dishwasher and allow the suds to dissipate. 8. Dishwasher Cleaning
Hard water mineral deposits (15 grains or more) can affect cleaning. A water softener is strongly recommended for high hardness. Use affresh® Dishwasher Cleaner or a white vinegar rinse to remove white spots and film. Multiple treatments may be necessary depending on severity.

It cleans very well, even when the dishes are pretty dirty, and I don’t have to pre-rinse like I used to. The third rack is more useful than I expected and helps free up space in the lower racks. It runs quietly enough that I barely notice it’s on, which is nice, especially in the evening. Everything comes out clean and dry, and the ProDry feature actually works instead of leaving water behind. Overall, it feels solid and well-built, and it does exactly what I need it to do. Definitely a good upgrade from my old dishwasher and worth the price.

It has an automatic dry function where the door is pushed open, so if you have concerns with steam and kiddos try something else. May be able to turn it off but haven't looked that far into it

It is so quiet that I can turn the dishwasher on and watch tv in the next room and the noise is not distracting! I also like that the door pops open when it is finished....so you do not forget it is done and it is ready to be emptied!

It is the quietest dishwasher we have ever had. I am still making the adjustment to the third rack, but it works very well. Best Buy Installation and haul-off was great. Good professional team to do the work.

Loves the 3rd rack, but may have gone with a different 3rd rack dishwasher because things fall out of the front of the rack. It needs an extra wire piece.

I particularly like the deep 3d/top shelf because it holds more than just kitchen utensils! The large silverware basket it also great! Plus, it hardly make any noise at all! It s highly recommended and Best Buy's sale price on it made it hard to pass up!

The 3rd top rack is deeper and the dishwasher holds a lot more dishes. When its done drying the door automatically opens to release the steam! I thought my girlfriend was opening it.

Purchase was easy, the unit was on sale, and it’s amazing how much they can fit into a dishwasher nowadays considering the cabinet size hasn’t changed. Very quiet!

They’re so quiet and actually wash really good. Some of the more expensive brands that have quieter machines don’t always clean well. This is the quietest machine that actually cleans well. Highly recommend!

The buttons are so sensitive that it turns on a lot when I close the door. Very quiet though, so great. It’s doesn’t always dry, even on the higher setting. Normal setting it never fully drys.
