I bought this dishwasher and the product has been working great. At first attempt i thought the it was too large to fit in my opening. To maximize space in the dishwasher, Kitchenaid uses every possible inch for the tub. I had a piece of wood under my counter top that needed to be trimmed back, but then it fit perfectly. It is amazing how quiet this machine is though. I couldn't be happier.

This dishwasher is extremely silent and efficient. Highly recommended.

The KitchenAid Stainless Steel dishwasher I purchased may be the lowest noise dishwasher on the market. For much of the cycle, and it has several cycles one can select, it is difficult to know that is running. The trays glide in/out smoothly, much smoother than lower cost models, and the various adjustments in the trays make loading very efficient. Outstanding!

This dishwasher is so quiet that on more one occasion I had to look at the lights on the front to make sure I had started it -- and I was standing at the sink right next to it! The Express Wash cycle really is an express cycle. I did remove the third rack on the top because the only thing I found it useful for is flat items like lids or small serving utensils.

Love love love!! You can't hear it when it's on. Only cons are the wash cycles are a bit long and with the top flat tray I feel like I can't get as many dishes in the middle tray but it's all worth it. Another con is that it doesn't seem to really dry the dishes but that may be user error...we're still trying to figure out all the functions

We had a Kitchenaid dishwasher previously and were happy with it, so when it started operating erratically, we looked for a replacement. This model is quite similar to our old one, but several new features, including a third drawer (which is practically useless and we removed it), an adjustable bottom rack (which so far seems more awkward than helpful), a full suspension bottom rack (which doesn't slide as effortlessly as the floor model), and a top mounted control panel (which, while hidden, is actually more inconvenient). We wanted black to match our other appliances, but black is now an expensive option... so we have stainless steel (which seems to show every fingerprint). Would have loved the new black stainless steel, but it was not available on this particular model (we don't understand why...). We also do not like the new 'industrial' looking door handle. The dishwashing seems good, but a little finicky. You need to be sure the detergent compartment "clicks" when closed or the dishwasher will not start, and the top panel means you need to close the door quickly after selecting 'start'. We have had this unit several weeks and are still testing different settings, but cleaning and drying seem to be somewhat inconsistent. Overall, it seems to do a good job most of the time.

I purchase this to replace my Samsung that I purchase in 2014. I did a lot of searching and came across this one. The specs, reviews, both here and online, in addition to the YouTube review swayed me. I made the purchase and after some delivery scheduling mishaps (overbooking!), IT arrived and it is the best dishwasher I have ever had. One, it actually cleans the dishes. Really, really well. And the power scrub feature is amazing. Second, it is beyond quite. You barely know this thing is running, even when standing right up on it. IT is that quiet. Third, the drying feature is golden. Dishes actually come out dry. And lastly, the build quality. The racks are quality, the dishes fit in them solidly and securely. The tub, filters, and door, "feel" solid. The "middle" rack height is adjustable, up and down. The 3rd, top rack is awesome. This thing is a beast. I feel fortunate to have found and purchased this piece. As with the Samsung, which I am highly disappoint with, especially given what I paid for it and I am replacing it only 3 years later, time will time how well this machine hold up, wear and tear, maintenance and all. I did purchase the service plan this time, so we will see.
