Very nice looking. Poor performing. Doesnt clean dishes at corner doesn't dry well

After reading all the reviews of this product I was convinced it had to be great and sure enough it is spectacular. The machine washes very quietly, sometime I dont even know it is on its so quiet. The dishes comeout looking great. Excellent washer, so happy that we purchased it. One thing, if you buy this, make sure the geek squad people come to install as they are super pro's installing the machine. Very happy with the service. Great job!

I am so disappointed in this purchase. The dishwasher does not clean thoroughly and it certainly doesn't dry properly! It is rusting all of my knIves due to the fact everything is left wet. It also leaves a film on plastic dishes. Now I'm stuck with this and I'm out over $400.00!

the dishwasher is ok, not too loud, uses a lot of water

This dishwasher is terrible!!! It does not clean my dishes. Whether I put it on Pro-wash or normal the dishes still come out with food on them. Instructions suggest loading for better results but the capacity is small as it is and really doesn't make a difference!

So it’s been less than 3 years and I’m buying another dishwasher. It’s not worth fixing this junk. I’m very disappointed with KitchenAid. Didn’t expect this product not lasting 5 to 10.

Bought this model to replace a 20 year old Bosch that finally gave up. This dishwasher is much larger and has room along 3 sides of the bottom rack for the wider pans and dishes that I always had trouble fitting into the Bosch. To get dishes clean and dry you must use the new 3-level pods - old style powder does not work in this machine (I tried it and it came out neither clean nor dry). It is very quiet. Great hint from a prior post: run the water in your kitchen sink until it gets really hot, then turn on the machine, and the cycle will be shorter. The door closes really solidly and it feels quite sturdy.

Stoppef working completely within a month of purchase. Will not even start. Getting prompt service frim Best Buy is impossible - even though I purchased a warranty. I will never do business with them again.

This was a replacement for our longtime model. I am a firm believer of "you get what you pay for." This is a decent, quiet, American-made product. I would recommend the Geek Squad installation service even if you know what you are doing as this has a plug and is not hardwired like many older models. The installation and haul-away service was actually on promotion at zero charge plus there was a sale on the model, so I also purchased the 5-year extended warranty and service plan. The installation was timely, professional, and the team was very courteous and respectful. The dishwasher runs flawlessly. I would recommend this to a friend.

Love this dishwasher. It has all the bells and whistles I need - no heat dry, delay wash, stainless outside. Extremely quiet. Only downside is the long wash cycle but the dishes are very clean.

I have been using for several months now. Seems to be working well, dishes are clean, runs pretty quiet, I like the silverware tray, much better than other dishwashers I have had in the past. This model has a heating element option to dry dishes, not offered on all models.

Bought this dishwasher in Oct, 2016. It failed to start any wash cycles today, June 15, 2018, less than 21 months. What a piece of garbage from KitchenAid!!!

Very unsatisfied with this dishwasher. While it is very sleek and very nice to look at, it lacks in function! It's rusted alot of my silverware due to it not drying well.

Have had this dishwasher break down 3 times in the last 4 years.

I love this dishwasher! It is so quiet! I have to keep checking to see if it's really on. Of course, it doesn't matter if it's quiet if it doesn't do a good job. Well, I am beyond pleased in that area. It has a basket for the silverware that separates all the items. They get squeaky clean. I will recommend this unit to anyone who will listen. I am very pleased and impressed with this product!

My dishwasher came dented. Couldn't tell because the cover packing was bulky. Sad
