Customers are saying
Customers praise the 24" Top Control Built-In Dishwasher with Stainless-Steel Tub for its quiet operation, excellent cleaning performance, and ease of use. Many appreciate its sleek design and roomy interior, noting the improved appearance over expectations. While some found the wash cycles longer than anticipated and experienced issues with the racks, the positive feedback on cleaning and quietness outweighs these concerns. The overall quality of the product is also frequently highlighted.

Another Great KA Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My entire experience with purchasing this dishwasher was phenomenal - from ordering to delivery, everything went like clockwork. I couldn't have asked for a more professional delivery guy-very nice! The dishwasher itself is beyond what I expected. I read a couple of complaints about the top rack, but I just don't see a problem there at all. In fact one reviewer mentioned the THIRD rack, but this item doesn't even have a third rack so I think that review was meant for another model. The dishes are beautiful and I've seen none of the issues with drying that we read about with many models, including a couple on this item. This is one of the very few remaining manufacturers that use the heated dry function - a must-have in my opinion. And the options for washing are endless - from the lightest load to the heaviest and dirtiest - all cycles produce beautifully spot-free dishes. WELL worth the money and even better when it's on sale! And don't even get me going on quiet...amazing how far they've come since my last KA dishwasher - The only time I know it's running is by the status light on the front and the occasional gurgle of the sink! VERY satisfied...with Kitchenaid AND with Best Buy. I'll definitely be back!

Best dishwasher I've had!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read online reviews and this was highly recommended. It didn't disappoint. Plus the crew at Best Buy knew their stuff and they were able to help me compare features with other models and brands. This was one they said customers raved about, and they were right. Competing stores were not nearly as helpful. I would also recommend their install...very simple and fast. So the dishwasher gets regular dirt off with regular washes. The heat dry is good and does not melt plastic. I had some of the disposable stuff bend (just the lids) but you're not supposed to reuse those anyway...doesn't affect regular plastic containers. Others said water built up in the tub. I do not have that. It dries well and cleans well and water does not pool at the bottom. Use tough cycle if you want to clean baked on stuff....it really works. Be warned it takes 2.5 hours (really!) BUT it cleans EVERYTHING. Every spot...even baked on cheese. As I understand it the models with pots and pans (which this doesn't have) cleans similarly but faster because of more water spouts, but they only had the ones with the trays on top, which means a little less room on top, so I chose this one...I don't mind the long load when it's on tough, but if you want faster, go with the pots and pan model, but still keep kitchenaid...it is excellent. It's bigger than any I've had so we do fewer loads, and let me tell you, the food is caked on sometimes by the time we run a load. Even pulpy orange juice. Everything still comes clean and super shiny. The installer said make sure you use a rinse agent, so we do, and he was right. Super, squeaky clean. Even glasses with film from our old dishwasher come clean now! AND the peanut butter knife. You'll love it!

Great washer and really quite
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this brand because it has a heating element and it is a very quite compared to my older Kitchen Aid. You really must use a rinse aid to get the best results. I use a low or non-toxic dishwasher gel along with non-toxic rinse aids. They do exist but you must search for them. Try EWG.org.

KitchenAid - Quiet and great looking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I saw it in the store and this what we looking for. We bought a floor model at %50 off. Minor dent. There was more damaged while 3rd party installer picking up dishwasher so BestBuy can't install it. Best Buy customer support called and offer me a brand new same model at same price. We were very surprised. Best Buy delivered and install and it's look really good and work great. stainless steel exterior and interior and it very quiet and slick. My wife love the new KitchenAid dish washer.

Amazingly quiet, sturdy and stylish
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy rocks, excellent price for an almost $1,000 dishwasher. Very quiet. Handle and stainless panels are extremely high quality. Multi pronged dishwasher heads also great for cleaning dishes. Has a delay timer.

Beautiful Quiet Dishwasher!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a beautiful dishwasher, solidly built and very quiet. It's water saving and washes and dries well. Cycles are a bit longer than my previous washer but I'm not concerned with that, who likes to empty anyway! lol I had installation done by the Best Buy technician and he was very professional and knowledgeable.

Great for a mid range dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't spend a great deal of time cleaning the dishes prior to loading them in the dishwasher so I really appreciate a dishwasher that cleans well. I use the automatic cycle which is not the heavy duty cycle and the dishes come out clean every time. The only word of caution when purchasing this appliance is to make sure none of your kitchen drawers will interfere with the handle of the dishwasher as the handle comes out pretty far.

Looks nice and works great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this dishwasher for about 4 months now. The look of this dishwasher is very nice and it has a nice Kitchenaid accent on the handle. The wash quality of this product is great as it's been able to clean our dishes every time. We generally will run the dishwasher every 2 days and we only gently rinse off the dish before putting it in the dishwasher. This dishwasher is quiet and I'm very pleased with that. Our kitchen and living room are in an open floor plan so a quiet operation of 46 decibels is great for our situation. I like the controls on top and they're very easy to use as well. I hope to outfit my whole kitchen with Kitchenaid in the near future.

Ok dishwasher, I won't buy KA again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd KA dishwasher, bought one for previous house, and this house came with KA that we replaced. This is probably the worst one of the bunch. I have had this dw for over 2 months. I have had a few loads come out dirty, that I have had to rewash. Also, I can only put my 10.5 in dinner plates on the bottom rack when the top rack is in the highest position. I did not have this problem with my other 2 KAs, I could put my dinner plates in the bottom rack and adjust the top as needed. Now I only can wash dinner plates when I am washing smaller things. This is a REAL inconvenience for me. We are building in the next year, KA will NOT go in the new house. I very rarely have a full load, because I have things that I cannot put together in the dishwasher. I really enjoyed my last 2 KA, but this one is really an inconvenience for people who cook and use many different sizes of pitchers, plates and serving ware.

At least its quiet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher doesn't clean well on items loaded on the outer edges (which includes all silverware). Maybe I need to use the pots and pans cycle for dishes. I liked the idea of the heated dry option...too bad it doesn't work well. Even the plates come out moist and I do use jet dry. May be I should have sacrificed some energy stars and used the "Pro Dry" option. Oops...this model doesn't have pro dry. The directions say to run the hot water closest to the sink until its hot before starting. Huh? Maybe that's what I did wrong...so now water usage has doubled...sacrifice some more energy stars. It also says to make sure your water heater is turned up high enough...another energy star down the drain. The stainless outer finish is subject to finger prints.Best Buy sent me an Email asking how I liked the two blu ray movies I bought...huh? They didn't ask how I liked the new dishwasher. Bottom line, a great dishwasher if you wash your dishes by hand first and then towel dry. Energy Star?...Only if you eat off of paper plates....

Average product, Premium price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The dishwasher looks good. It is a little more noisy than normal. It does a fair job of cleaning the dishes. As long as you do a good rinse first. If not, there will be food stuck on your dishes. It also takes a very long time to complete a wash cycle. 2.5 hours at least. The racks are poorly designed. The plates won't stand straight, but fall over and touch each other. So, it isn't worth the premium price paid for this item.

DOA
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed dishwasher but would not function. The motor sounded initially as if it was draining and then nothing. No lights, no sounds, nothing. Very frustrating. The installation is overly complicated and I regret buying it. Although I am going to send it back.
