Customers are saying

Customers praise the 24" Top Control Built-In Dishwasher with Stainless-Steel Tub for its quiet operation, excellent cleaning performance, and ease of use. Many appreciate its sleek design and roomy interior, noting the improved appearance over expectations. While some found the wash cycles longer than anticipated and experienced issues with the racks, the positive feedback on cleaning and quietness outweighs these concerns. The overall quality of the product is also frequently highlighted.

Didn't even last a single wash cycle

Had this dishwasher installed yesterday. Tried to wash a small load of dishes soon after the installer left. Half way through the cycle it just dies. No lights, no anything. Tried t call and get a replacement but it's still in the "dispatched" status so I cant even do that yet. That's how long it lasted. Not a very happy customer right now, to say the least.

    HIDDEN DANGER - love/hate

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN..I read many reviews and bought this based on the tried and true ratings of kitchenaid dishwashers and washing wise and noise it is great HOWEVER THERE IS A FATAL FLAW ON THESE that will RUIN YOUR CABINETS. They are flush to cabinet but vents are on door side so steam vents into cabinets--so much the granite counter is hot AND the surface on my new cherry cabinets is showing water damage after 25 uses (at mist and without sanitizing). NO WHERE in installation guide or online does it caution position or placement .. I have to go buy a totally new dishwasher that vents out top .. will be asking to speak to kitchenaid rep. HEARTSICK ABOUT IT..you all need to know the risk

Like the other 1 star review, I installed mine and ran the very first load...it failed completely about 10 minutes into the very first load. No lights...nothing.

Motor died after 2 years 4 months

Great dishwasher until the motor straight up died after 2 years and four months - you know right after the warranty was over. The plumber I brought in to try and fix it told me that the dishwasher motor would cost about half what a new one did. He also told me the brand to buy that wouldn't die just after the warranty expired. Not Kitchenaid.

It was nice and quiet at first. Then it broke in year 3. Motor went. Whirlpool owns Kitchenaid. Kitchenaid product is having same bad quality as Whirlpool. Don't buy Kitchenaid/Whirlpool.

Three year life is not long for a $900 dishwasher!

It worked for 37 months and then the top rack broke (cheap, flimsy plastic) and the pump stopped working at 39 months. I paid $900 and expected our dishwasher to last far longer than 3 years. Repairs were quoted at $500 in Brooklyn for the rack replacement and pump replacement so we're buying a new one to save us the trouble. We bought a Kitchenaid Microwave at the same time and that has started to not work at all periodically. I wanted to support an Ohio company but Kitchenaid, you're making it hard. We will not buy your brand again.

I cannot believe how cheaply made this is! It looks fantastic on the outside, but inside it fell apart so quickly! The top shelf has broken twice and there is always something wrong with it. It’s honestly so frustrating because we purchased all new KitchenAid appliances for our home and the dishwasher and double oven are already needing replaced.

    Terrible overall!

Purchased in Feb 2016. Serviced twice since then for control board, heating element, sensors. Doesn't clean or dry well even when it's 'functional'. Super long cycle time. Currently not drying again (Aug 2019). We're puling the plug and replacing it with anything other than a Kitchen Aid.
