Don't buy this dishwasher

The 3rd rack is basically useless. With it, there really is not enough room to stand up wine glasses on the main glass rack. If you lower that rack, the spinning thing hits your dishes so that doesn't work. I bought this dishwasher thinking because it has a spray feature up on the 3rd rack that my wine glasses would come out clean. Unfortunately, that is definitely not the case. Residue is left on the side that is tilted of the wine glasses and you have to hand wash them to clean them once they come out of the dishwasher so what is the point? I also had a regular small drinking glass that came out with the stuff still inside the glass so that didn't even get cleaned. Overall, I would never recommend this dishwasher and wish I could exchange it. The cycles are really long too but is is quiet, so that's one good thing.

I shouldn't be going through this after paying this much money . It cleans well when it works.

After having trouble time after time with the Bosch 500 I ordered, I decided to try Kitchen Aid. So far it has worked like a dream and the way the third shelf is designed is genius. My only complaint is that the silverware basket takes up an entire side. It would be nice if the basket had two sections so it could be separated.

This was also the only model at Best Buy with a REAL top rack (for ramekins, glasses, long utensils; not just for silverware)

The heated dry cycle does not dry the dishes as much as I would like. Dishes still have water on them when finished but nothing I can't manage
