We’ve had this dishwasher for two weeks. It is awesome! It holds so much with the 3 racks and everything comes out spotless. If you’re looking at this unit, don’t hesitate, just buy it. It’s worth every penny!

Love the new top drawer design. This dishwasher is so quiet, we start it when we sit down to watch tv in the same open concept room and can't even hear it running.

My Floor is Concrete and Tile. No noise. No vibration. Some time need to check to see if it running by put my ear next to the door. I read reviews said it noisy. Most of them who does have defect all have some similar. Oh they have Wooden Floor. I think many 5 star reviews have concrete floor. Cause one of bad reviewer said he love the system sp much that he pay aloot effort to add insulator. I think for people have wooden floor should add some thing like Noico Sound Dampener under the machine and surrounded.

Broke in 6 days, melted the wash arm.

Dishwasher was easy to install by myself. Worked excellent for the few days. The 3rd rack is amazing and allows for so much more to get washed. The dishes were squeaky clean and super dry. We did 2 loads a day for about 6 days until we opened the door and my eyes and throat were burned from smoke coming from inside. We shut off the breaker thinking it was an electrical fire. After the smoke cleared I found the lower wash arm laying on its side and the plastic connector melted all over the heating element. I'm guessing this is a design flaw because the other models have this issue a lot and I bought this higher model to prevent this. Happy this happened so quickly as its an easy return but seriously???? Cant anyone make quality products anymore.

So quiet you don’t even hear it running. The only bad thing to report about it is the electrical connection. It is very difficult to hook up a hard wired connection. Everything is a very tight location. My hands got cut up just feeding the wires into the terminal box.

Love this dishwasher! The third shelf is a dream. Kitchenaid products are worth every penny. This dishwasher replaced a Samsung which didn’t last 5 years, and not used on a daily basis.

We didn't even need to rinse the dishes before putting them in our old dishwasher. This one does require pretty thorough prewashing. I haven't been impressed with the prowash setting, and have found that only the heavy wash does a good job with oily or greasy plates. However, the 3rd rack is really convenient and usable space, as opposed to some 3 rack dishwashers that don't really offer that much extra room. I also like that you can move the middle rack up and down. Its very convenient for taller items. Overall, very satisfied.

    WARNING - DO NOT BUY!

I would have given this dishwasher a good rating within a few months of buying it. However, within the warranty period, we noticed that water was leaking from the unit. The repairman fixed the leak by replacing the faulty float switch and commented that where the heating element attaches to the tub would corrode (known problem) but he couldn't replace it then because ours appeared to be intact at the time. Fast forward a year later, water was leaking again and we found out that the posts that secure the heating element to the tub had corroded and parts of those corroded pieces fell off and were lodged into the pump's impeller, shredded the screen, and seized up the motor so now we have to replace the heating element and the circulation pump assembly. Of course, this is no longer within the warranty period. To say that we are frustrated is an understatement. We now have a damaged floor as a result of the leaks as well as paying for new parts. I have read on posts that people have had thousands of dollars of damage due to this dishwasher. I will never buy a Kitchenaid again. Why can't companies build appliances with parts that are built to last?

Kitchenaid= Cheap crap at high prices.

It was bought on 7-5-2022, and on 4-15-2025, the Drain Pump Stopped working. So, my options are to spend at least $300 diagnosing what I already know is the problem, it needs a new drain pump, and then likely another $100 for a $37 drain pump. So about $400 to repair something that should last 5-7 years without problems, or buy a NEW dishwasher. I Had a control panel go out on a $4000 stove, 1 month after warranty, Also Kitchenaid. My estimation now is that Kitchenaid sells cheap crap, and still charges for the name. which to me now is a steaming pile of horse... Will never buy anything from Kitchenaid again.

Be ready for a surprise electrical cost! We paid for installation (and removal of the old one), which Best Buy was happy to take, however they failed to mention that upon installation, any house built before 2020 will have to have a GFI outlet out in for the dishwasher to plug into. When we contact the store and customer line, they simply said it’s not their problem. All we asked is that everyone be made aware that if they purchase this unit, know you will be spending another $200-250 on hanging the GFI outlet out in…while your new dishwasher sits there. (Note: the electrical coat is what we’re having to pay, if you can find cheaper, happy for you). The dishwasher itself is fine, but it’s the last time we purchase appliances from Best Buy.
