Stopped working in less than 1 year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Biggest issue is that we have had it for less than a year and it suddenly, it stopped working. It is under warranty which means only Whirlpool can service it and the SOONEST they can come check it is 1 MONTH from now. That is not to say that it will be fixed at that time. That is 1-2 months of a product I cannot use that is only under manufacturer's warranty for 1 year. Sidebar, one of the features boasted in the description was better drying and we did not see this at all. However, when it did work, it cleaned the dishes well and it ran quieter than our old washer.

Recommend Kitchen-Aid 3rd rack Dishwasher

The 3rd rack is limiting in what you can put in it, which also makes the 2nd rack limiting in the height of glasses you can put in it. And then if you adjust the 2nd rack (because that's possible), you take away space in the bottom/1st rack so that large pans cannot fit.

But overall, my only real beef about it was that it was supposed to be quiet and I can hear it 2 rooms away.

By far, it is the best in terms of the interior layout, quietness, and quality of construction. Since I've only had it for a week, I cannot comment on durability, but I'm extremely pleased so far.
