Outstanding dishwasher. Lots of space for various types of pans, dishes, and cutlery, easily adjustable shelves, nice solid door with excellent closure click and very quiet when running. I had come in think about getting a Samsung and left getting this Kitchen-Aid. In addition, it is one of the only quality machines with the round handle which matches my older JennAir ovens and refrigerator.

I needed to replace a great Kenmore Elite dishwasher that was about 9 years old because the control panel went out and is no longer being manufactured by Whirlpool. I tried buying another Kenmore, but with Sears out of business only Lowe's online has them. I bought one from there, and not only did the dishwasher leave everything wet on every cycle and had a very weird rack design, but it was also poorly installed and Lowe's wouldn't take it back 9 days after purchase. SO, out with Lowe's and in with Best Buy, where a very knowledgeable salesperson helped me buy this KitchenAid. I wanted something very quiet with a normal top rack that will hold glasses all the way across. This dishwasher was very quiet for the first 2-3 weeks, but is now a bit noisy. It cleans okay, and doesn't leave dishes wet. I am knocking off two stars, however, because this dishwasher's place for adding detergent is terrible. Sadly, all the other dishwashers on the market seem to have moved to a dinky sliding box for dishwasher detergent that is supposed to click into space. There is no longer a second section for additives like Lemi-Shine, and the main section is very difficult to get closed properly. (Yes, there's still a separate receptacle for jet-dry.) It seems to be designed only to hold those nasty little plastic packets that add micro-plastics to our water supply (Yuck!), so if you use powder or liquid dishwasher detergent you cannot go one grain over whatever amount this little slider box was designed to hold. If you don't get it right, the slider will not close and you're reduced to getting powder all over your fingers as you try to remove just enough to allow the stupid slider to stay closed. AWFUL design change that I'm sure irritates the vast majority of users.

We love our new dishwasher. It has tons of space, runs very quiet and does a fabulous job of cleaning.

I saw one or two reviews on here saying this unit was loud. I’d have to disagree with those reviews. Super quiet especially compared to our old Frigidaire. We used to have to do two loads with our old unit but his one can accommodate our families needs perfectly! Cleans very well. Drying could be a touch better but overall very happy with this purchase.

Have only had this appliance for a month but so far it is perfect. Seems durable, cleans dishes well, and feels high end for the price. Best Buy installation and haul away was fantastic.

This dishwasher is wonderful. Very quite and everything I mean EVERYTHING comes out clean and spotless. I especially love the top rack design.

Stainless steel finish doesn’t match the trash compactor and fridge with the same design. Had to return it.

Love my KitchenAid dishwasher! This is my third KitchenAid since we bought our home almost 52 years ago. Our home came complete with a generic dishwasher that we replace a few years in our new home. We purchased a KitchenAid that served us well for many years. When we were forced to replace it, the dealer pushed us to buy a Maytag instead. That only lasted us for about eight tears and again bought a KitchAid when we replaced it. After 13 and a half years we had to replace that one and again have a new KitchenAid. I love it and it is so quiet we don’t even hear it running and the dishes come out amasingly clean.

LOVE this dishwasher. Quiet and heated drying dries everything very well. Third row is awesome for spatulas, large spoons and kids snack containers. Overall very happy so far. We have had it 2 months. For the most part we just use the Normal cycle and heated drying.

Great dishwasher. You barely can even hear the dishwasher running. Dishes come out dry and clean every time.

We’ve had this dishwasher for two weeks. It is awesome! It holds so much with the 3 racks and everything comes out spotless. If you’re looking at this unit, don’t hesitate, just buy it. It’s worth every penny!

Very quiet and does a great job cleaning and drying the dishes.

Love the new top drawer design. This dishwasher is so quiet, we start it when we sit down to watch tv in the same open concept room and can't even hear it running.

easy to use does a good job with all kinds of dishes

My Floor is Concrete and Tile. No noise. No vibration. Some time need to check to see if it running by put my ear next to the door. I read reviews said it noisy. Most of them who does have defect all have some similar. Oh they have Wooden Floor. I think many 5 star reviews have concrete floor. Cause one of bad reviewer said he love the system sp much that he pay aloot effort to add insulator. I think for people have wooden floor should add some thing like Noico Sound Dampener under the machine and surrounded.

So quiet you don’t even hear it running. The only bad thing to report about it is the electrical connection. It is very difficult to hook up a hard wired connection. Everything is a very tight location. My hands got cut up just feeding the wires into the terminal box.
