And it does not dry well. All your dishes, silverware and glasses will be wet. All in all, a mixed bag, but ultimately disappointing based on the price. Top panel controls get activated by accident when they're touched. Our older Kitchenaid was a better machine with less bells and whistles.

It constantly throws errors, requiring me to unload the machine, drain the water, and reset it just to get it running again. Now it has developed a strong electronic burning smell — a clear FIRE HAZARD. Best Buy hasn’t been helpful at all. They want to charge a $129.99 diagnostic fee, and repairs would be extra. At that point, the total cost would be close to buying a new machine. This is unacceptable. A dishwasher should not fail in just two years. Really disappointed in KitchenAid and the overall experience. I strongly advise against this product.
