I am covered by the manufacturer warranty for a year and took an additional 3 year Geek Squad warranty. KitchenAid sent an authorized tech who diagnosed the issue to be a known one with this machine. They need to order parts and replace them, another week for this after 2 weeks of wait to get the tech to check it. The parts and labor are covered by the manufacturer but they will still charge me about $200 since my dishwasher is installed in a space in my kitchen! So I am expected to pay $200 for a $1100 machine that has a manufacturer known issue that developed in 8 months after it was bought brand new! Also, beware of the GeekSquad protection plans. Through the process I learned that if this happens after 1 year when the manufacturer warranty expires, I will also need to pay for the parts as it is not covered by GeekSquad plan. Not buying KitchenAid, and not ever getting fooled by the Geek Squad gimmicks!

When they were working under the kitchen sink , they might have forgotten to reconnect the garbage disposal properly. the garbage disposal not working now and it was working before the crew came to install the dish washer. The plumbing services not returning my call and I expect Best Buy to help me to fix this problem. Thanks and appreciated your response.

We get error code h20. We have service coming on 2/3/21, we have looked at the water lines they working. It cleaned dishes twice and did a wonderful job. However very concerned about getting an error code on third use. Great room inside the dishwasher. Not sure about recommending this product glad we got 5 year warranty. However may just return it.

I will first comment on the good. With the third rack we can get a lot in it. I do like being able to see how much time is left before it is complete. Now on to the bad. This was to replace a prior KitchenAid model. When we first purchased the earlier model years ago we wondered if it was even running it was so quiet. This is completely the reverse. It makes annoying noises at multiple times in the cycle. Even draining water is amazingly noisy. Considering what we paid for this one I expected much better performance. If we had known it would make this much noise would have kept looking.
