Does a good job, not as quiet as hoped for

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the top controls, as they're easy to see. the construction of the very top rack is a little odd, and I'm not entirely pleased with how it can be used. But overall, my only real beef about it was that it was supposed to be quiet and I can hear it 2 rooms away.

It's an adjustment - getting use to this 3rd rack

The 3rd rack is limiting in what you can put in it, which also makes the 2nd rack limiting in the height of glasses you can put in it. And then if you adjust the 2nd rack (because that's possible), you take away space in the bottom/1st rack so that large pans cannot fit.

Recommend Kitchen-Aid 3rd rack Dishwasher

By far, it is the best in terms of the interior layout, quietness, and quality of construction. Since I've only had it for a week, I cannot comment on durability, but I'm extremely pleased so far.
