    damage to the refrigerator

    My refrigerator arrived today. But there is some damage to it and when I tried to reach someone at Best Buy to see if it can be repaired quickly, I got the run around and then was on hold for a long time but no one ever came on the line after waiting on hold and be transferred around. I can't really review the refrigerator yet since I have only had it a few hours.

    Horrible communication. Waited until 3 days to notify me and let me know the dishwasher I ordered was on backorder and it would be another 2 months after already waiting a month and was specifically told I would have the dishwasher before the date they gave me in the first place. I will not be back shopping at Best Buy!

    Kitchen Aid refrigerator

    Being a Kitchen Aid refrigerator has a lot of cheap materials, the rack is already stained, the drawers has a dent. I just bought a month ago. I was not able to returned it.

    the refriferator is ok when delivered they didnt level it broke the shelf and want me to order a new one they would get me a new rerfrigerator doesnt make much sence for a shelf.

    Wouldn’t know how to rate the item. They have been waiting since May for the item. They have attempted delivery 3 times and we still don’t have it.

    KitchenAid 27 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator

    I would give a 4.5 rating if allowed. The .05 deduction is because of the odd noises the refrigerator makes. Otherwise, it is (a) beautiful, (b) operates perfectly except for the odd noises, (c) functional with plenty of space, and (d) is well-designed with the icemaker and water dispensers. We bought KitchenAid because our new house has KA appliances so we wanted to match. Our GE Profile gave up after 20 years of great service, so we hope this stylish KA hold up that well for many years. Huge applause and appreciation to Best Buy. The first I brought home had 2 small dings in the stainless on the front door. I was expecting BB to blame me as I delivered it myself, because our other one died as per above. BB representatives did not hesitate to send out a new one and installed it for me at no charge. Excellent customer service.

    Not worth the headache

    We bought this fridge a year ago and although it looks nice, it has had so many issues. We have had get it repaired every couple months and because Whirlpool bought them out, you have to contact their help line every time and its like pulling teeth getting ahold of them. The ice maker breaks all the time and stops making ice, the fridge itself is very loud, and it always makes a weird ringing sound. In addition to the ice maker, we have had to have a pump replaced, a line replaced because it was leaking and so many other issues. And now our warranty is expired and of course our ice maker breaks again and Whirlpool is telling us that there is no extended warranty? Super frustrating and not worth the money.

    Excellent fridge! Lots of space and perfectly designed for good organization! Lots of neat features! Love this fridge and the finger proof finish is perfect! The only downside I'd say is you have to open both fridge doors to open the long drawer which is a little annoying but not s big deal at all

    Have only owned the unit less than a week but works well. Nice looking Refrigerator. Makes ice well and has plenty of room. Did not really take up any more space than my old side by side unit.

    This refrigerator is the very best refrigerator i have ever owned! It has plenty of room , makes plenty of ice Water filter works great plus it is veryquite! On top of all this it is very Pretty.

    Broke twice in three years

    We bought this refrigerator as part of a whole new KitchenAid kitchen refresh. We have had the pieces for a little over 3 years and the refrigerator has broken twice already. The first time, it was leaking puddles of water all over the floor at random times. Turned out to be a clogged hose to the water dispenser, after only 1 year of having it. Now, on the 3 year anniversary of buying it, it has stopped cooling completely. It stopped making ice a few days ago and now it is no longer staying cold. When we called Best Buy for service, we were told it would be almost 3 weeks until they could get us an appointment. Waiting on a call back to see if they can get us in sooner. Extremely disappointed in KitchenAid. For an expensive product, it sure doesn’t hold up like it should.

    Out with GE and in with Kitchen Aid

    We upgraded our old GE and as of right now it was worth it. The kitchen aid stays cooler and colder than the GE. Moved the GE to the garage still works but noticeably difference in build quality. Only down fall would be the ice maker. Not a big deal for me but other people might not care for how long it takes to make ice.

    Refrigerator was purchased to replace a similar sized Samsung. I believe that this unit will be easier to keep clean and perform better. The ice maker is definitely better. i am very pleased with my purchase.
