The ice maker leaks water into the refrigerator, requiring constant clean up. It’s an exhausting cycle of drying the inside of the fridge only to find puddles of water 20-30 minutes later. We called kitchen aid service over 2 weeks ago and nobody has been out to repair it yet. I even encountered a rude customer service rep on my second call. Would definitely not recommend this fridge, not worth the $2700 we paid.

Cheap Kitchen Aid Products

NEVER HAVE BESTBUY INSTALL ANYTHING

I had to install the water connection. Then one week later the handle fell off the middle door due to improper installation. DO NOT HAVE BESTBUY INSTALL ANYTHING

Defective Refrigerator experience

I was told by your rep I would be credited back everything in 48 hours. I had to call again today because nothing has been done and was told they never processed it so it’s been a week and I can’t buy a refrigerator because of this error. I did receive some of my rewards back today but there are still some rewards that have not been credited back. This has been a disappointing experience. I shop a lot at Best Buy and am not sure if I will buy my refrigerator here because if this experience.

Kitchen Aid Refrigerator

The only draw back on the refrigerator is that the freezer and the other drawer does not slide shut very easily. Other than that this is a top notch refrigerator so far.

The first lasted 1 day before the compressor broke from its mount. The replacement died exactly 6 months after installation. Kitchenaid Whirlpool service would not answer their telephones and would not reply to emails. They would not permit me to request service online. I cannot get my $3,338 refunded.
