I can not believe that the KitchenAid name was attached to this product. The only burner that boils water is the center burner. You can not boil anything on the front two burners. The water will simple set there and evaporate before it ever starts to boil. I have started water to boil on the center burner then moved it to one of the front burners and it would stop boiling. I do not write a review three weeks after I purchase a product. I have used this cooktop for over a year. If it was a car I would trade it in.

Not very easy to keep clean. Pretty when clean until one crumb gets on it.

I would not add a star for this rating. After the installers left, my wife started smelling a foul smell. Once we turned off the gas to the unit, the smell went away. We called to request someone to return to evaluate and fix the issue. They said it would be 24-hours before someone would call back. After the 24-hour wait, we had to call them for direction. They said the original caller would return the next day to fix the issue. The installer didn’t show up when we were told he would. When calling the support line we were told it would be a week before someone would come out if fix the problem. It will be almost 2 weeks that we will not be able to use the new range. Sadly, this is the third negative experience with appliance purchases with Best Buy. I was a long time customer of Best Buy, but now will no longer step foot in one of their stores. Very poor customer support. Very sad.

Still pending delivery, but love the way this looks and feels heavy duty.

This cooktop came with a defective middle burner. It's been three months of taking off from work for 8 different appointments and they still have not corrected the problem. I wasted my money on the Geek Squad plan. Worst joke EVER!!

I am extremely unhappy with this gas stove. To begin with, just after installation the middle burner never worked properly, it would always emit flames which would emit some sound. It has gotten worse over last few months. The rest of the burners have become very slow. I had very high hopes on this stove but would NOT RECOMMEND this at all. Pure waste of money !!!

Burners are too close to each others and the heats from the burners are not the same one as the other brands

I can't really give a review right now because the unit didn't have all the parts and an igniter was broken in shipment. Best Buy is sending a new unit and it should be great. I should really like the product when corrected

KitcheAid- buit in Gas Cooktop is a good product. It's durable.

Do not buy it its really hard to clean and very heavy

The stove was rusted around the sides. Had to return.

While this was not the least expensive cook top out there, it is worth every penny. It sits up a little higher than our old cooktop. It has a very clean look and is easy to use. The burner in the middle is great as it will boil water faster than the other burners.

If 30" is all you have to work with in your countertop this cooktop represents a very good compromise of burner types and layout. Their are three standard burners in different sizes and a couple of special multi-purpose burners. They are not gimmicky though - Kitchenaid is a serous foody company and the even heat burner real does heat more evenly. The super burner really boils a pot of pasta water considerably faster than even the larger std. burner. The grates dishwash beautifully and I don't know what they coated the stainless with but it cleans up to a like new condition no matter what you boilover onto it - it's a little spooky that way - all I use is soapy water or windex and a sponge or paper towel ... nothing abrasive.

This cooktop is beautiful out of the box BUT there are several very frustrating issues which make it truly terrible. For starters, the temperature control knobs are very close to the bottom burners so they heat up when in use. If you're not careful you'll burn your hand when shutting the burner off. There's not much to a cooktop, how could the designers have overlooked this basic safely issue? Next, the stainless steel is more like tin foil. It's a very light gauge (unlike my KA refrigerator) and scratches if you breathe on it. We barely cook and our shiny beautiful new cooktop was covered with fine scratches within a few weeks. I tried several different techniques to remove the scratches and they don't come out. Oh, and that awesomely powerful center dual ring burner? Yeah, it doesn't come off (easily) for cleaning. And if you get it off (with a screwdriver) you'll notice it gets filthy and the stains do not come off. Next and probably the BIGGEST complaint...the metal burner heads under the burner caps discolor and show black spots after a few uses. It looks sooo bad. How can you design a gas cooktop with metal components that can't handle heat from a flame??? Seriously. I thought I got a bad batch of heads and spent $200 on new ones and the same thing happened. It's beyond maddening. Lastly, the rings around the temperature control knobs are fitted with cheap glue. 3 of 5 have come undone and I had to glue them back in place. I'm a loyal multi-generational Kitchen Aid customer and THIS cooktop is not deserving of the name. If anyone from KA is listening, please help end this nightmare.

This cook top looks very nice.. But you can't use an oblong pancake griddle on it. All the burners are different sizes. The center pasta burner is very hot should be used for boiling water only. The controls are in a strange place too, if you are using a frying pan on the front burners, it feels like the controls are too close and feel like I'll get burned. I can't return it now unfortunately..

I really loving my new KitchenAid cooktop. It is fulfilling all my basic criteria for cooktop

Excellent replacement for an older cooktop. Love the 5 burners and the low temp. of the melt burner.
