Really bad...for just one basic design flaw :(

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basic design flaw: when you use any or all of the burners, the downdraft skews the flame towards itself and you can't cook anything at all! it is very annoying and it is just surprising to me that the designers missed the most utilitarian value of the stovetop. i will probably return this. Any hacks to block the wind pressure on the flame from the downdraft fan?

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The product itself is great, but if you're replacing an older Jenn-Air unit, which on paper has the identical cutout specs, you need to beware. The new unit has screws that jut out from the top and bottom sides, and our older unit fit the cutout almost exactly. As a result, the new unit didn't fit, and we needed to cut the slab maybe 1/2" to fit in the new unit. Hence, I deducted a point. Kitchenaid should mention this. Otherwise, we can't say enough
