All good from beginning to end. My sales consultant was Robbie Meyer and he was extremely knowledgable and provide complete answers to all of my questions and made very sure the product was the ideal choice for our countertop. The installers were prompt, curtious and efficient. They did the install quickly. Could not have been more pleased. The KitchenAid Cooktop is a replacement for a 10 year old model. This unit is an amazing improvement in terms of looks, controls and efficiency. The flat grate surface allows optimum flexibility while cooking. My wife is very happy and pleased. What else matters?

Love my new cooktop. Great look, easy to clean. The cooktop replaced and old jenn air cooktop that was past its prime. Only a slight modification in duct required.

Airdraft from downdraft fan does not let pan heat well. Flames get pulled to the inside. Impossible to cook with fan on. The middle grid needs to be recalled and design to cover well then flames are not pulled. Dangerous also. Stainless steel gets yellow quickly impossible to clean.

The salesman was very helpful because I had a jennair before and I didn’t know much about kitchen aid. The stove has performed well so far, easy to use. I’m happy with it.

I REALLY wanted the 5 burner cooktop. I did NOT, however, want a hood or a vent system in front. So I had to trade, in-vent with 4 burners was my only option - and I wasn't happy. My GC installed my new KitchenAid 4 burner cooktop with the in-vent system. OMG!!! It's phenomenal!!! And the vent system - you watch it suck down the air - even steam - it is nothing short of phenomenal!! I'm still bummed about the 5th burner, but this 4 burner works like a charm!! My review is a little late because the cooktop arrived prior to the countertops. First things first :)

No issues replacing my GE cooktop. Fit perfectly in the cutout. Like the stainless steel. Lights quickly and cooks with no issues. Other reviews talked about the fan and yes when on "high" the flames can flicker but has never gone out on me. Feel like this is a huge upgrade over my previous GE cooktop, in both cooking quality and looks.

We purchased a new house and the previous owners took out the option to put in an overhead vent. This solved our issue perfectly and we couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

Love it! The design is so functional, such as the continuous grates. The downdraft is powerful; wIsh it had a few more settings (lower).

i switched from a Jenn-Aire electric downdraft to this Kitchen Aid gas downdraft. Was reluctant to do so because of the claimed issues with the downdraft being so powerful that the flames went out. Haven't had the problem so far. The replacement wasn't an exact fit but installation went smoothly. Much improved cooking control over the electric burners. My wife and I love to cook on it. Very happy.

We had the same size glass cooktop prior, and needed a replacement due to a crack and control issues. Not a lot of down-draft options. My wife is really pleased with this one so far. The stainless looks great and cleans up easily, and the controls on the side are much easier to keep clean and protected than our previous one. Performing great after a month with holiday cooking. I was able to install it myself. Relocating the exhaust was the biggest challenge I encountered. You will need more thread sealer than was provided in the box, if you also replace the gas feed line.

All four burners on the cook top are great! We really appreciate the simmer function and the larger overall space on the cook top.

So much better looking and easier to clean than the glasstop we had. Burners and fan are optimally performing.

Beautiful, efficient, and powerful countertop. It makes my kitchen looked good. It also improves greatly our cooking demands via our old Jenair countertop.

Was a good option to replace our existing downdraft cook top. It looks more elegant than the GE alternative. Cleans easily and heats fast. Would recommend
