so far so good. I have only had it for 2 weeks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I love my stove. One thing I noticed is the top oven cooks hotter than the convection oven. I had two pans of cookies in, one on top and the other in the convection. They were both cooked on the same kind of pan and at the same temp and for the same length of time. The cookies in the smaller top oven were more brown on the bottom then I would have liked. The cookies baked in the convection oven were perfect. My personal opinion is that the smaller oven bakes hotter because of it's small size. I will need to adjust my cooking time accordingly to see if this helps. I also wish the stove was designed so that it could sit flatter against the wall. The closest they could get it to the wall still leaves it sticking out 1-1/2 inches beyond the cupboard. That is after my private installer came back and had to redesign how it was installed initially. An 1-1/2 may not seem like much but it makes it more difficult to reach items in the cupboard above the stove. I did not give the stove 5 stars because I have had it such a short time.

Beautiful and love the 2 ovens
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having a Samsung that died after a year and would never cook at the temperature the oven was set to, we got this beauty! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the sleek look of the outside and the black stainless is gorgeous. It cooks at the set temperature in the ovens and the best part is that the 'low' settings on the cooktop are actually 'low' settings! On our former stove, High was high and low was high as well and everything burned! This stove actually allows you to turn the heat down and things stop cooking as fast if you want them to. I do have a few complaints...neither oven is large enough for my turkey roaster with the lid on. It fits without the lid in the bottom oven but if I want to roast something in a roaster with the lid, I need to find a new roaster I guess. You have to be careful opening the bottom door, as it lays on the floor when it's completely open. if your toes are under the handle when you open it, it does hurt a bit when it lands on your foot. Also, I find I have to practically get down on my knees to get the bottom rack to slide out...I realize that this probably has to be this way in order to have two ovens in one stove so I can live with this...it is super great being able to cook at different temps in each oven. My number one complaint about this oven is the very large vent holes behind the handle on the upper oven door. Why? We have only had the stove a short time and there is already a drip between the layers of glass that got there thru these vents on the door. I had this same complaint of my old stove....this design needs rethought. I don't want to have to take the door apart to clean between the two panes of glass, why do the vents have to be there and open to the glass panes...I think that is asking for trouble. There are no large vent holes on the bottom door oven, why do we need them on the top door? Anyway, now my brand new stove has an unreachable ugly drip of something between the panes that you probably wouldn't notice, but I know it's there and it is annoying to think about. I think every oven has these so I guess they are not a deal breaker, I do still love it.

Not Happy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was delivered November 10th. It has had light use and still looks brand new. The top glass is a little difficult to keep clean. It shows a lot of dust. Overall, I was happy with this range until I noticed the porcelain at the bottom of the top oven has started to crack. Very disappointed considering the light use it has had in 4 months. I will be contacting warranty service shortly for a replacement. Aside from that, it's been great.

So far so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super excited to have two ovens! I definitely need them love to bake, roast, broil and having to wait for a free range messes up your dinner, lol. So I am grateful I have two now.

Classic design with modern features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love this stove for its classic look, without having a crazy needless touch screen or anything we wont use on a stove. The double oven with this is great, yes you lose the bottom storage or warming drawer. But who really uses that anyway except to store cookie sheets? We have space elsewhere for those. The duel fuel in this model, gas range, electric ovens was critical, and during the sale we took advantage of, we were getting a superior model for the same price of lower tier models. Would definitely suggest this model if it went on a great sale! Full price, eh, feel like you're paying a bit for the kitchenaid branding. But the quality of the materials and their finishes is certainly apparent.

It is a Kitchenaid. It is the best.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am most pleased with this appliance. As always, Kitchenaid quality makes the difference. The double oven is wonderful to have. I use the top oven on most occasions, and it heats quickly, cooks evenly, and is easy to put in and remove food. I seasoned both ovens for an hour before first use, and I have had no peeling enamel or any other issues. The cooktop is great with burners that heat quickly and evenly. I recommend this range. And it was on sale at Best Buy when I purchased it, so that made it even better.

cracked chipping enamel in 6 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this oven 7 months ago. One month ago I noticed that the enamel was cracking and flaking off in the upper oven. The upper oven is used minimally - I prefer to use the convection oven in the bottom (wish they were both convection). I called to ask about warranty coverage and was told that enamel is "cosmetic" and not covered. If I want to talk with a service technician to confirm this, I will have to pay for the call. I am unbelievably disappointed in the poor quality of this appliance, and the lack of service provided by KitchenAid (charging me for a phone call?!). This is supposedly a high end appliance - one of three KitchenAid appliances that I purchased together - a purchase that I very much regret at this point. The enamel protects the rest of the oven - without enamel, the rest of the oven is exposed to moisture/food/etc. Enamel is not cosmetic - it serves a function. Of course, by the time the function of the oven itself is compromised because of the cracked enamel and related damage, my warranty will be expired. My last oven was a Jenn-Air and I never had a problem with it for 10 years - I wish I had brought my 10 year old Jenn-Air to our new house - I'm sure it would have worked longer than my brand new KitchenAid.

Nice looking oven
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like the look of this oven. I like the top oven. Convenient. Haven’t tried the convection oven yet, mostly use the top oven. Burners could be better however, since only one front burner is adjustable. One large burner in front is for large pots only. Would have been better to have two adjustable burners. Glass top harder to clean than my old Maytag oven, don’t know why that is.

Good oven, glass cooktop is just ok.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.have had this oven for over 12 months now, and am satisfied with the quality. It is very convenient to have 2 ovens. The top oven does seem to cook faster than expected - I have been meaning to get an oven thermometer to see if the thermostat needs adjustment. The good news is that you can do an adjustment on this oven if needed. They big lower oven has convection bake, which works very well. The stovetop is only "ok". it is difficult to control the heating, frequently going from too hot to too cold - but this is a common challenge with all electric cooktops and likely also depends on your quality of cookware. The biggest drawback is it is very difficult to clean and keep clean the glass cooktop. The stainless steel exterior is great and easy to keep looking good, but the glass cooktop is a completely different story.

Good not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This oven is very temperamental. It's built with good quality but man it's impossible to clean the top of the stove off without putting a lot of elbow grease into it. Make sure you try to not spill anything on the stove top otherwise you're going to have to get your bar keepers Friend out and really get to work. My oven Cooks hotter in the back side and it preheats a little too hot. It's a good stove but for the price it needs to be a great stove and it just isn't.

Love this Oven
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love Love Love this. It’s fun to use the top oven for everything, so remember to use the bottom one too. Cooks and bakes evenly. Used the broiler for stakes tonight as it was too cold to grill outside. Perfect! Cook top is easy to use. Love the 3 sizes burner for small medium or large pans. Easy to clean too!

Beautiful range
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I been using this range for a few months now. It is not only beautiful, but it is so versatile with the two different size ovens, the top is easily cleaned. I will be replacing the rest of my kitchen with all new Kitchen Aid products from Best Buy.

Good quality for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sleek design and look. Fit well except for wall to range distance. Rear shielding prevents pushing all the way back into L bracket. 220v socket oriented the wrong way. Otherwise, works very well. Cooktop heats up quickly and evenly. Will be using double oven with the Holidays coming up.

This is a MAJOR improvement over electric.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We also own the electric flat-top version of this range. The ovens on this unit and its electric predecessor are FANTASTIC. I LOVE the convection baking option on the lower oven. Very even baking. I much prefer the gas range top over the electric range top of its predecessor. The gas top allows you to very finely adjust cooking temps.

Ovens better than stove burners
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been happy with both ovens although the convection fan seems to run whether selected or not. Maybe I'm just not understanding how it is supposed to operate. Two ovens are very handy for family dinners. The stove top is not very good. The burners are very different and difficult to get consistent heat. Makes cooking more than one item frustrating. The installation was fair but because of the type of outlet and it's position on the wall the oven would not slide back the last 2 inches. The installation people would not modify the stove or do anything to make it fit right. It was obvious that they have seen this problem before and it should be a question asked at the time of purchase. I probably could have got it corrected before the install if I had know about the issue of clearance for that type of outlet.

My dream stove
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always wanted a double oven but wasn’t sure if I would like it or need it. So far I love it! I’m still figuring out all of the features and how everything works. This is more complex than my previous simple model, and that doesn’t slow me down. I’m very glad I bought this one!
