Great Oven, not so great timer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The oven and stovetop are terrific. Great upgrade over our GE. Boils water quickly and ovens preheat at a good rate and temperature very consistent. Only drawback is that the timer only beeps once. Then once each minute after. Really don’t hear it. Options only change volume, not number of beeps. We purchased a digital timer and use that.

Best in Class and Fast Electric Stove
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We decided to go with the electric glass top over the gas version of the range because of the utility configuration in our house. I am happy to say that cooking with this glasstop stove has been a joy. It heats up fast and cooks even. The double over is also a welcomed addition as we can use the small one to heat up things without heating up the whole house now. Also this thing feels solid and made in the USA.

Kitchenaid can do better
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have mixed reviews on this. I love the double oven its very handy, the convection oven works great. The burners are weird. The right side has a good burner that really can get the water boiling quickly. The left side burner has 3 settings. Small, Med and Large which in theory would be awesome but in practice means that its either on high or not at all. The low settings don't seem to work great on the left burner. Very hard to control the temp. Three sizes is overkill and under performing. And... the same burner had a knob break in the first year and I barely used it.

Beautiful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am so happy with the overall of this new range. It is beyond beautiful and fits perfectly with the collection. The double oven feature comes in handy all the time. It does show some water spots when wiping the cool top clean so ordered some cleaner for that but overall so far so good!

Great range!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We did a full kitchen renovation and decided to dash our double wall ovens and cooktop and go with a freestanding range to gain more space in our small kitchen. There aren’t a lot of double oven options like this. But we went all KitchenAid and our kitchen looks much more high end. The range works well. Burners get your cookware hot quickly and boils water fast. Both ovens do a good job. This is our first convection oven and I really like how food comes out.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used a lot of the features by now. One burner does 3 different sizes. I do like the flexibility for my larger pots and pans. The upper oven is larger than I expected (great). I use it for casseroles and when baking cookies. It is good not to heat up the large oven for everything. The black cook top shows every little speck of dust! And, we have tried to clean off the dots that mark the burners. They are meant to be there!

Nice addition to the kitchen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I love the smooth top on this stove. It is easy to keep clean and appears to heat evenly. The double ovens are great if you are doing any entertaining or for cake /pastry cooking. Would purchase this stove again.

Beautiful oven commercial looking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oven is great cooks to true temperature. Love the double ovens. Spacious, small oven great for pizza and cookies, heatup or baking bread. The exhaust from the convention pools up on the back of the stovetop leaving water buildup on the stainless. Otherwise great oven.

Excellent Range especially for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the features on this electric double oven range. Kitchen Aid appliances are dependable and a great addition to any kitchen! Love the pull out extension rack in the larger oven. The fast heat eye on top boils water extremely fast. Watch out if you cook on that eye because it will cook your food really quickly too! The price for this double oven electric range was outstanding too!

Double Oven Stove
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love having two ovens and the cooktop works beautifully. The only recommendation is be careful with the bottom sliding rack as I had a casserole fall back through the opening. No one was injured and the casserole was mostly saved. Moved the extending rack to the lowest part and will balance the back legs. All in all pleased with my new kitchen appliance.

Perfect for baking
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally went with the single oven but regretted and had to buy the double oven unit as it’s very useful when making multiple meals with different temperatures. The cooktop is great as well and the delivery was excellent!

Good idea, poor design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like this range. I’ve wanted a double oven for a few years and our old one finally died so we jumped on this. Unfortunately they didn’t think through the design well. The lower oven door hits the ground when you open it. Or your toes if they are in the way. And the upper oven was uneven in cooking. One side would be done while the other side was consistently about 5-7 minutes behind. I do not recommend this range

Excellent Double-oven Range!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This range looks great and easy to use. You do have to put a little pressure on the control panel buttons to make them work, but I guess that's more of a safety feature than anything else. My only complaint was the first range we got and had to exchange for another one was the first one was made wrong, in that the side panels stuck out too far to allow us to slide it in place in our countertop. It was obvious the side panels were screwed in place too tight which forced the ends to bow out, making the range too wide. I expected a lot better quality than that from KitchenAid.

What a downgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because my older one broke, and my only criteria was double oven. For that, this is great! But the stove top and controls are terrible. First, the minor thing: The stove top has these little white dots to indicate the perimeter of the burners, but they just look like your oven has food debris on it, so good job making a messy looking thing. But more importantly are the burner controls. My old one had digital displays, so it was really easy to put it on 'medium.' Now, you might think this would be easy with a knob regardless - turn it half halfway, right? Not so! Because of the multi-zone burners, the controls are split, and for whatever reason they are not split equally. So you have this tiny section for the inner burner, which a millimeter off is going to get you a wildly different value, and on one of them I swear it's a weird exponential curve for no good reason. I sometimes cook the same thing on two frying pans at once, and trying to get them to cook the same is an exercise in frustration to say the least. On top of that, the knobs are chromed the heck out, so good luck if you want to see at all at a glance (or even a decent look) what they are set to and which burners are on. Like, did no one look at this thing before they decided to sell it? Tragically bad.

Nice unit, looks great, works fine.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not a fan of the glass top. It is very hard to clean. I don't think it will ever look as good as the day I bought it. The top oven will burn the top of what you are cooking if you don't watch it. I am still learning how to use it, to be fair.

Great range, but beware of the back
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the range, but because of the double oven, the back doesn't have much recess for the range cord to "tuck away". We had cut out the drywall and create a cavity for the cord, or the range wouldn't push back to the wall. But we love the product!

Looks great with a lot of features
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only a week in but so far so good. This stove has a number of features that do take some getting used to. One of the burners has three separate settings for small, medium and large cookware. It is large enough to accommodate a large stock pot. The other four burners have their own setting you can use so there is a lot of versatility with the cooktop. As for the oven, I have used the top oven but not the bottom. I was completely tickled when I noticed that when you open the oven door the lights come on in the ovens. Cooktop has been easy to clean so far but of course time will tell.
