I was excited to find this refrigerator as an open box item. The tag said it was returned for scratches and residue but that everything worked. Now, let me be honest, this review is as much about Best Buy as it is the refrigerator. Remember, the Best Buy sticker said that the appliance worked. The store employee who assisted me was knowledgeable and polite. He helped me get signed up for the 18 months, no interest payment plan which I really needed. He arranged for the refrigerator to be delivered to my home a mere three days after the purchase (yes that was sarcastic.) The delivery crew was polite and efficient. They put the machine in my kitchen and gave me a number to call if there were problems. All good. I cleaned the stickers and things off the refrigerator, connected the water line, plugged it in, flushed out the water line. About a day later, after it had time to fully reach the temperature settings, I turned on the ice maker. A few hours later there was a puddle in the top shelf. I made sure the fridge was levelled properly and tried again. Water continued to leak from the top. Therefore I called the number I was given for help. The help line was polite and told me I would only have to wait seven days for a technician to come look at the appliance. Gee, seven more days of waiting, that's great (yes that was sarcasm too.) The technician arrived on the appointed day, looked at the refrigerator and said, "that's a manufacturers defect; I can't fix it." He called in the problem so that the store would know what was going on. That night I went back to the store, got credit for the bad refrigerator, and picked out a new one. This time I only had to wait four days for them to come remove the bad refrigerator and bring in the new one. Bottom line, I liked the look and features of this refrigerator, but Best Buy could have saved me a lot of missed work and frustration if they had labelled it properly from the start. I'm bummed it was a bad unit, but even more bummed about how much time was wasted in this whole process. To sum it all up, don't trust overhead ice makers that feed into the door.

I absolutely love this refrigerator. The storage, both refrigerator and freezer, is excellent with ample door shelves that are deep enough to fit all of my condiments. The interior design is sleek and the lighting is perfect. The best part is the stainless steel. It is smudge proof and when cleaned, there are no streaks, making keeping it clean a breeze.

Love the pull out freezer drawer, just wish freezer was larger. Ice maker takes up too much space on left door

Great fridge. No fingerprints! I love it! And it seems like there is so much room in both the fridge and the freezer. My husband likes that the on-door water dispenser shows you how many ounces you are getting. Very happy with our purchase.

This refrigerator works quite well. Ice maker produces a good quantity and speed. Looks nice. It makes a lot of weird noises. The ice and water dispensers are sub par but usable. The freezer storage is quite good. Overall is a good fridge and I would probably buy again but it isn’t the dream fridge.

The fridge functions good. I use temp sensors and find temp range fluctuates more than thought but not an issue. The looks are great. The fridge does make some strange louder than expected noises as it fills up water filter for ice, a gurgling sound. The exterior options for water dispense and ice type is nice.

This refrigerator has a very mum and classic design on the outside that sports the round bar commercial style bar handles but the inside has a party going on. LED lights retractable shelves and drawers and best of all the wooden trim slider. The refrigerator has a lot of space but the design of the ice maker is a bit awkward and waste some space inside.

Absolutely Love it! Plenty of room for everything. Big PLUS having the pullout shelf. My baking sheets fit when marinating meats etc. Shelfs are removable for those pedal cakes! Freezer has tons of space, the removable tray is great for those little items that usually get lost in the freezer. I make and freeze margarita balls and fancy ice cubes that I store in this section. The LED lights in refrigerator are perfect - especially in the middle of the night raids to munch. I am very happy and highly recommend this KitchenAid 27 CuFt refrigerator!

Honestly I have never loved a fridge before - but this fridge is the best! Roomy, practical, really built for people who cook.

Amazing fridge with plenty of storage, we installed it our selves and had no issues. However, the icemaker does often leak, and we ran into an issue where it would not create ice cubes, but rather the water would pool around However, the icemaker does often leak, and we ran into an issue where it would not create ice cubes, but rather the water would pool around the Storage area for the ice in the door and freeze the basket causing water to pour out every time we went to get ice we’ve since resolved it, and just keep up with maintaining the amount of ice that collects around the bin.

I love this fridge. It is very sleek and the compartments inside are very useful. It has great storage on the doors as well. I love that you can still get water with one of the doors open. It is spacious and perfect for a family. The freezer space is great too.

A clean and nice-looking fridge which my wife absolutely loves. It creates ice very quickly and after dumping 3 full containers and 4 milk gallon jugs water and ice taste fine. The main pain with this is the pallet that this fridge is on is bolted in by 5-inch bolts to ratch off from the bottom! It does make a noise when cooling it almost sounds like a phone ringing which is weird but this is a good fridge so far after a month.

beautiful design, good space. I love the inside design and layout. Not fingerprint resistant. The reason I am giving 3 stars is the doors are not well aligned. One door is taller than other. Geek squad called. The mechanic said Kitchen-aid refrigerator has this issue. It can't be fixed. I didn't want to return because it is a lot of hustle. Now I have to live with it. It is not a huge deal. I don't except Kitchen-aid to have this issue because it is a high end brand

The review has more to do with the installation by Best Buy than the actual unit. The installers dented a door and broke off a bolt head while putting it in. They tried to cover up the broken bolt that holds on a door but I caught it. Best Buy is replacing the whole unit tomorrow (after 2 weeks). The only thing wrong with the refrigerator is that ever time you close the door, a component in the bottom somewhere rattles. Can't find it so it's inside the mechanics. Hopefully the replacement doesn't have this issue and it was part of the poor job the installers did the first time around
