We wanted a very quiet and very clean-washing dishwasher. Take the very out, and it describes this machine. It's almost as quiet as we hoped, and occasionally, despite precleaning heavily soiled items in the sink, there are food particles stuck to them. This occurs during "Pro Clean" and "normal" cycles. We have yet to use the pots and pans cycle since all our loads include delicate items as well as pots and pans. Our previous inexpensive and loud washer did at least as well on pots and we always used it on "normal". It takes 3.75 hours per load set on pro-cycle, sani-rinse, high temperature wash, and pro-dry! Even then, it sometimes fails to thoroughly clean stuck on stuff, and the items that usually came out wet in our old dishwasher still come out wet. However, I believe that this machine does represent the state of the art for $1,000 plus dishwashers.

Its quiet and it cleans well! The very shelf is large enough to hold spatulas. Only complaint is that the cycles run a little long.

great dishwasher that is super quiet. the third rack is designed well so you can fit a lot of things in here. all of the dishes come out clean.

Very happy with installation and purchase. Would buy again. Cleans dishes well, good rack configuration, and very quiet. Has a high quality look and performance. Controls are intuitive. Outside is fingerprint resistant. Installer very experienced and capable. No issues after one month.

i like this dish washer very much. my dishes are always spotless even my silverware. i would choose another kitchen aid dishwasher again.

It dries the dishes! The dishwasher is very quiet and cleans well. The dish racks slide in and out smoothly. I am happy with the purchase.

I have had 3 dishwashers in 4 years. This one is already impressing me after just a few weeks. Best dishwasher I have ever had. I love how roomy the third shelf is, and it cleans really well. I am trying not to "prerinse" because I want to see what it is capable of. I have only had a few things that I had to rewash because they didn't finish in the dishwasher. Those were things that were pretty crusty, so all in all I am VERY happy with this dishwasher.

Love the quietness and how clean it gets everything. I love the pro wash and pro dry features a lot. The 3rd rack is spacious and is a fantastic add!

Very quiet and get the dishes clean. The 3rd level basket with the cutlery part and the beeper part for plastic tubs is practical.

so quite you have to check the light to see if it's cleaning, Love the third rack and the dishes are always dry and glassware spotless.

We bought our second kitchen aid dishwasher to replace a 10 year old kitchen aid. The unit cleans dishes and dries plastic better than any we have used. The third rack is a great space saver for coffee cup size glasses and smaller and doesn’t seem to restrict the second rack load. More than anything else the prodry feature dries plastics really well. We have had loads with no water on lids or plastics. Amazing.

Love this dishwasher! Very quiet and cleans everything well. The top rack is a game changer. So very useful and handles a lot of extra stuff that, otherwise, would have to find places in the lower 2 levels. Very happy with this purchase!

It is very quiet. It drys the dishes and they come out very clean. No bells and whiles just a dishwasher. Ni WiFi, No app for that. The 3rd rack is very small and my dishes have a hard time fitting in the unit as I cook very large amounts and have large bakeware. I do miss the dishwasher alerting me if it needed something like a cleaning or rinse aid. But it is a nice replacement over my new LG dishwasher that caught on fire and well turned out to be a nightmare and horrid experience.

Replaced a Kitchenaid dishwasher that lasted and lasted for YEARS. Still think Kitchenaid is a great brand. This new model has much more loading capacity. It does a great job, but it does take a long time to clean and dishes do not get as dry as the old model. I hear that it is the one of the easiest brands to get service. Another great dishwasher is supposedly Bosch, but good luck getting it serviced if anything goes wrong.

Our home builder only used GE appliances, so we upgraded to their Cafe line and couldn't have been more disappointed. After a few months, we started shopping around for a replacement. It came down to Bosch vs KitchenAid. We went with KitchenAid due to the huge 3rd rack & easy glide rack system as they were both rated well for cleaning. We couldn't be happier. Huge difference in space/rack configuration and the cleaning performance has been perfect. The down side is they are pretty proud of it - $$$$.

Have had my dishwasher for 2 weeks now and loving it. Still getting used to where dishes, pots, etc fit best but other than that, has worked well. I've only used it in the "Normal" setting which does take 2h 50m. Dishes come out very clean and dry along with the inside of the dishwasher is dry without any lingering water. Forgot to mention...super quiet!
