Submitted a support ticket to LG and they sent over a tech who basically could not fathom why I was unimpressed with a dishwasher that would pool dirty water and was unable to properly dry dishes. I since returned that and bought this unit and have been impressed with its layout and capability.

This dishwasher is huge, so you DO need to reach down almost to the floor to reach the door to close it. On the plus side, the dog loves the easy access to the dinner plates. Print shield is the best. Better than my Bosch.

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the look of it, and the 3rd rack that fits not just utensils but small cups/dishes and even a coffee cup, AND I could fit a utility bowl from my Kitchenaid Mixer in the 2nd rack too, BUT alas this machine died "F9" function error over and over. They came out once under regular warranty, then again under Best Buy extended (thank goodness we bought that) and repaired it twice, and then when the third time came...pump, computer board and something else I forget...they thankfully agreed to replace it. Though i REALLY and I mean REALLY liked it and was tempted to replace it with the same unit, I couldn't stomach the risk of having so many repairs that interrupted life, over and over. So we went back to the Bosch that now has the 3rd rack (not quite as good as this one) and fits a lot on that 2nd rack up, and has a better drying function than our prior Bosch did, so my fingers are crossed we are done with dishwasher repairs at least for awhile.
