Plus they want you to run the machine for less than 3 minutes at a time and that just signals that’s they are trying to baby their stand mixers. Meaning they are not as durable as they need to be, the warranty they offer is iffy and easily voidable.

I purchased this mixer and a month later it is put on sale for $100 less. When I try to get the price match guarantee, I'm told to contact the seller, who has refused to honor the price match. With only a 15 day return window, I'm out of luck. This sucks!

I read rave reviews on NY Times Wirecutter about this model. I hate the design. Getiing the bowl off and on is akward. You have to tilt and lock in. Its finnicky. The lift mechansim is weird. Its a handle that you half turn away from you. The motor was not at all as powerful as i thought it would be and i just make basic things like cookies or whipped cream. I returned it. Best Buy does have awesome customer service.
