First time kitchen aid buyer

The machine turn on but the hook is not spinning. Nothing heavy during usage, just some dough being mixed using the dough hook at the recomended speed. Luckily the mixer broke down during the 3rd day afer purchase so i was able to exchange for a different unit at BestBuy. So far the newer unit work just fine, but i did purchase the geeksquad protection plan for peace of mind in case this breakdown again.
