I purchased a brand new KitchenAid 5.5-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer (Contour Silver) from Best Buy and it arrived in clearly used condition. The box was not factory sealed and the contents were loosely packed and clanking inside. Once opened, it was obvious the mixer had been previously used: • Instructions were wrinkled and loosely placed in the box • Accessory information sheet was cut down the middle • Food residue was present on the mixer • Mixing bowl was scratched on the bottom • Flat beater and wire whisk showed signs of prior use • Flat beater had scratches consistent with bowl contact • Wire whisk appeared tarnished, as if run through a dishwasher • Styrofoam packaging was damaged and broken • No plastic protective wrapping was present on any components The dough hook was the only accessory still sealed, strongly suggesting the other components were originally new and later used. This is unacceptable for a product sold as new. I returned the mixer after one day. Very disappointed in the quality control and fulfillment process.

I really enjoy baking and cooking with my kitchenaide bowl lift mixer. It does an awesome job mixing everything up and doesnt bog down when the batter is dense.

Awesome mixer - with the sheer volume of bread and other bakery good we make, it is a workhorse with options. The price and convenience made it even more worth it.

We make almost everything with this machine - sourdough, butter, baking…it works great and has a long life.

It is a very good mixer and a great deal because Best Buy had the Best Buy price of it after several time searching around. A win win deal.

This KitchenAid mixer will do anything you needed to do. It's well built and can mix a wide variety bread dough and many other ingredients.

It is well made, and I will be purchasing add-on attachments. However, I wish the bowl were deeper.

Love the mixer, but one thing is a bit disturbing. The 2nd time I used it, two spots were worn off the white cover of the beater. I don't want that in my food. That's why a 4 star instead of 5.

Outstanding mixer, don't know why I waited so long to buy it. Price I guess. Best Buy had a great price, so it's mine!
