Not quite what KitchenAid should be

Right out of the box, you could just hear the grinding in the unit, it wasn’t smooth. Also, with the bowl fully raised, the beater was too far from the bottom of the mixing bowl causing it to have to be scraped way too many times to get the dough to thoroughly mix. It did, however, do a decent job of kneading the dough. I purchased it for the higher watt motor so it would not struggle to mix/knead denser doughs, but all in all, the Artisan Tilt Head would have been a better option at the price point.
