I love this 5.5 quart bowl lift mixer from KitchenAid! Only wish I had read the pieces included listed in description as this is the one model that doesn’t come with a pour shield. I had to order one separately as it made quite a mess on my counter! Bought it during the Labor Day sale.

I gifted it to my partner and he loves it. He is such a talented baker. I reap the rewards of cookies.

Ready heavy base. Attachs easily and good mixer all around. If you love to bake, invest in yourself.

I have the lift stand currently but had the tilt head model prior. I miss my tilt head. The lift stand bowl is wider so dry ingredients fly out even at the lowest speed. The head of the lift stand is harder to clean and the bowl is more difficult to set. I miss my tilt head so much that I’m going to spend the money and get one even though my lift head is still functional.

this replaces a similar one we had that we gave to one of our adult chldren. we love this mixer
