I see why all bakers have a kitchenaid mixer. I have never baked a day in my life and my first cake was made using this mixer. It is simply amazing.

The blue ink color is amazing. I got this because my old black and decker died and thought hey lets upgrade to this beast of a machine and add a cool looking unit to my counter. Unfortunately I did not like it in comparison to a hand held. My biggest complaint is the build up on the sides that with a hand held is easier to manage. Then there is the issue of removing and adding the bowl, a little cumbersome. If I was heavy into baking this might be ideal, or even with the multitude of attachments that work with it. Alas, I am but a simple man who makes a cheesecake or deviled eggs occasionally. I returned and now have a little hamilton beach mixer. On a positive saved $200 by downgrading.

very nice mid range home use mixer, i don't use it often but it works very well. also easy to clean.

It mixes ingredients very well. The low speeds fold in ingredients without having to stop and hand mix them into the batter.

This mixer has the same 500 watt motor as the much more expensive 7 quart mixer, so it can churn through heavy dough and batter with ease. The only downside I've encountered is that, while it can use all the usual front-mount KitchenAid attachments, there's a slightly limited number of accessories made to fit this mixer (e.g., no glass mixing bowl). If you're set on a particular feature or accessory, check carefully to make sure it's available.

Perfect mixer to replace ages old Kitchenaid that has been in the family for ages. It's a lot bigger that the old one that I think my mom had in the 1980s but it's amazing how much has still remained the same as well. The bowl is easy to lift and lower and speeds are smooth to change between. I just with it came with a bowl cover for storage but it wasn't expensive to buy one. Can't wait to grab more attachments for it

To mix flour and liquids together the bowl hold all the ingredients without spilling over.

very easy to set ip and very powerful and edau to wash. i can make 10 people desert

I finally decided to make the leap to a KitchenAid Stand Mixer after my hand mixer gave out and honestly I should have done it so much sooner. I've been baking something twice a week after having this baby for about a month and this is by far my favorite purchase of the year. If you're considering this versus the artisan model, the lift bowl still feels very sturdy even when mixing bread dough. All in all a great investment!

I love love love my KItchenaid! I used to have a tild head KitchenAid and decided to upgrade to a (much) more expensive brand. BIG mistake! Concept was good, but design was less than desireable. I broke it to my husband before Christmas last year that I was going back to KA. I got in on a heck of a deal before Christmas and purchased this one. And I haven't looked back!
