I just bought this mixer after using the tilt-head Kitchen Aid for the last 27 years! That tilt-head mixer is still going too, I just gave it to my daughter! I am getting used to not being able to tilt the beaters out of the bowl to scrape the bowl, which I need to do quite a bit because the clearance between the different attachments and the bowl seems to be a bit too much on the sides. I have already adjusted it as far as it will go and it is still a big enough space that whatever I'm making just sticks to the sides rather than getting mixed up. That is my biggest complaint. I wish that the precision in that clearance was a bit tighter. Otherwise, I will adjust, I wanted this version because I needed the bigger size bowl, and I do love that!

The kitchen aid makes everything a little easier. If you making dough it makes it faster. If you are making a large batch of cookies it is able to combine everything more throughly and quicker. This is a great machine.

After my wife's old mix master finally died.. it was her grandmothers possibly 35 to 45 years old.. it was tume to replace it... my wife is sad to see it go but the new one is a real upgrade and she loves it!

What more can I say, it's a KitchenAid mixer and it's in the most beautiful color ever. I have been waiting to get one when I knew the color was right and this was it. It looks beautiful on my countertops.

I was skeptical about the push and tip mechanism for locking the bowl, but honestly we haven’t had a problem either with the mechanism or with adding ingredients mid mix. It’s a fantastic multi-speed mixer.

I bought this for my daughter-in-law who makes pizza and pasta . She was thrilled and she used it the same day to make dough for ravioli. So powerful and functional. Ink blue was a great choice of color.

Never used it. It weighs a ton. I don't have the counter space to display it. So putting it elsewhere didn't work for me. I'm sure it will be a good buy at the sale price for those that have a large counter.

I treated myself to this mixer for Christmas. I was worried that I wouldn’t use it enough to warrant the cost but I fell in love with this thing! It’s so easy to use and I’m learning so much.
