This mixer is powerful and on the quieter side. Having the arms lift makes it easier to remove the mixing bowl if your hands are oily. I make a lot of bread and pizza dough, so that fact that I can easily remove the bowl is a huge plus. The only drawback for me, is that it does not come with the pouring shield. Other than that, this really is perfect. It's also worth stating that my local Best Buy got my order ready for me with in thirty minutes of purchase online.

This is my first KitchenAid Stand Mixer, it is quite large in comparison to the tilt models, but this isnt an issue for me, I liked the color, had a coupple scratches on the top part, I asume had to do more with mail handeling, overall good black friday buy, been using it frequently and looking forward to buying new atatchments.

My last mixer is from the 80s or it may have even been older from my grandmother. It works like a charm but i needed a new mixing attachment. Decided to order a new one instead. Eneded up ordering the new attachment anyway and goving it to a friend. Who loves it by the way. These mixers never die. I love the new one, too. Much quieter than the old one. I expect to use it forever. Highly recommend for all uses. Have almost all of the attachments. Mine is used for baking, dough, shredding, meat grinding, ice cream, snow cones.

Love the silver color, bought the attachments also, it does it all. Great price, looks great, works great. It is great.

Love it!! Makes everything easy and I've taught my grown children how to make bread and home made pasta. They are very excited and have made their own... (Not to mention Cheesecakes) I own one and have bought two more as gifts for them.

It may seem silly to give a five star review when I haven’t used this item yet, but I have one and love it and bought this one as a gift for my son. He has been wanting one so I know he will welcome it. He loves to cook, bake, and likes the meat grinder option for deer season. It’s going to be a great addition to his kitchen.

Beautiful though first impression seems a slight step down in quality control. Already exchanged two due to build defects found after unpacking, including an alarming motor problem. Still trying to love it, although a bit concerned by odd rattles and other noises the new replacement is making, but too much trouble to repack and exchange again. I have learned this is a new design, and not much info online with full details or other real reviews found. Keeping because I really want, so time will tell whether still deserving of its reputation for quality and trusted reliability or this might be my last KA purchase. Fingers crossed will be at least as great as my tilt mixer bought some years ago and just with more power.

Excellent quality & top performer. Looks perfect in our kitchen!

We've used it just once so far, but it was fairly easy to figure out and definitely got the job done effectively! The machine is sturdy and heavy, and seems like it will last a long time; there's also a lot of capacity in the bowl. Note that this doesn't have the tilt-back top so you have to figure out the best way to remove the bowl - seems like taking off the attachment first can be a good idea, but it probably depends on how full the bowl is (otherwise with the attachment on, you have to tilt the bowl to get it off)

I ordered this as a Christmas gift and shipping was amazing. Came so fast and packaged very well. Best warrenty purchase I have found also. It’s so easy to use! My only issue is now that the head of the mixer doesn’t lift it’s hard to scrape down the sides of what you’re making because the mixing attachment is in the way. Other than that it has helped my mother tremendously when she is making bread seeing as her hands just don’t work like they used to. Definitely a simple design and very easy to set up and use.

Love the unit, love the ink blue color. Does a fantastic job, much better experience than the tilt/head. 10/10 would buy again.

Omg what an easy to use time saver. Didn’t realize how old fashioned I was until I used the mixer for the first time. I got the dark blue mixer and it fit in nicely with my black sink and black and crimson countertop.

Have only used it once so far but I'm in love already. Height of the mixer (16.5") did require me to rearrange my entire kitchen to find a workable solution, but again - worth it. So much quieter and stronger then my previous stand mixer (Hamilton Beach). Bowl lift instead of head tilt may be a learning curve for some but it's much better suited to the bread (and sometimes denser cookie) doughs that overwhelmed my previous mixer. Can't wait to put this mixer through its paces in the coming weeks.

Good and easy to use and has durability well last long timd

It is big which fits a lot of dough, due to this however, it is very heavy. I still love it though! I enjoy mixing the dough for my cooking needs.
