I had to replace my hand-me-down telescoping head mixer, and this one is perfect! The old one I had leaked a lot of oil and apparently wasn’t fixable for a reasonable price (outside warranty). I actually like this style a lot more because the bowl is wider than it is deeper, so I can easily add ingredients without playing tag with a whisk or paddle attachment. Also love the dark blue color!

Around our kitchen this absolute unit is commonly known as Sure Mixalot! Doesnt matter what we throw in there, cookie dough, bread, eggs, even icecream, it does what it says its gonna do. This mixer STANDS on business!

It's a beast and able to handle heavy dough easily! I prefer the power of the drop bowl over the tilt head. But tgere needs to be some tutorials on how to utilize the power of this mexer to best advantage.

Very good and sturdy mixer makes baking fun and less time consuming can make professional style cakes and can kneed dough to make tortillas tamales anything u can think pizza makes everything so fast and easy no more sore hands from kneeding dough

Excellent product! These are made so well and work with even the toughest dough! It lasts forever. I’ve had a couple but kept trading up. I would give the old one to a family member because I wanted a bigger one.

My original KitchenAid stand mixer was 43 years old and still worked great but I needed a larger one with the extra speeds and features. I love this mixer and it is so easy to use and clean. My only comment is when adding dry ingredients it is difficult to keep them from spraying out even at low speeds. I especially love the paddle with blades, creamy mixes are so smooth and well balanced

So far so good! We've made a couple of batches of cookies and our first apple pie. The mixer seems incredibly well built and has made baking a reality for our household. So easy to use and make baked goods with it. Haven't used it yet for shredding bbq pork, but planning on using it this weekend for that as well! Overall, the mixer is a solidly build appliance that we expect to last for many, many years.

Upgraded to this model and gifted old 4QT tilt head model to my sister. I can’t live without my Kitchenaid stand mixer! But I absolutely love this larger model so much more! Footprint of the machine is about the same. Just wider and much taller! I love the raw power this machine has! My last one was 23 years old and in great shape! Super reliable! I love my Kitchenaid stand mixers!!!!

Mixers is quite heavy but really gets the job done. The lift bowl is new to me and took a little while getting used to. The lift bowl does help with preventing flour from puffing out and spilling on the counter.

Best hands-free counter mixer on the market, I've had one for years and needed an upgrade. It is simple to use - and has a multitude of implements for different culinary needs from pasta, creaming, and meat grinding. It is more than a dough maker! I love my kitchenaid mixer! It was a purchase I put off for a while, but had to make the decision due to the great Black Friday deal! This mixer is top quality, reliable, and easy to clean.

I get this machine to have some fun in the kitchen, so far is a blast. It have the power and speed to get the job done, comes with 10 different speeds to chose between and 3 different adapters for different types of mixtures. The only downside I have is that the bowl is a little hard to instal just because is a 3 point contact 1 side to side and 1 in the back that is the hard one to get right.

Hello, I recently purchased the KitchenAid 5.5 Quart Stand Mixer. Unfortunately, I’ve had some issues: - The mixer struggles with kneading stiff dough, and often starts to move around the counter. - When it gets hot, the motor slows down noticeably. - The coating on the dough hook has started to peel, which concerns me. I expected better performance from a high-quality brand like KitchenAid. Can you please advise what I should do next? Is it covered by warranty? Thank you.

You can't go wrong with any KitchenAid product. This is just the right size and has worked great. Have another smaller KitchenAid mixer it still works just wanted the bigger size of Mixer.
