It mixes ingredients very well. The low speeds fold in ingredients without having to stop and hand mix them into the batter.

I grew up with a KitchenAid Classic Tilt Head mixer, so I knew I wanted one for myself. I had originally purchased a Tilt Head Classic, as that was what I was used to. Unfortunately, it was lost due to a family tragedy 2 1/2 years ago. I knew I wanted to replace my previous KitchenAid, and I always thought I would get another Classic. When I got the early Black Friday sales, the 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift was $200 off. The thing that sold me was the extra horse power. I didn't know what I was missing. Don't get me wrong, I loved my Classic! For every day, it was perfect. But with the baking I do for Christmas, the 5.5 quart is a life saver and time saver. It was a little bit of a learning curve, but it was worth it. I finished my baking early, but I haven't been able to move it back to its spot. It looks too pretty on my biggest counter.

My wife is a home baker and this is her 2nd kitchen aid stand mixer she had the smaller tilt head but had to make several batches to complete orders now with this one she can make 1-2 batches to complete an order she LOVES it.

In 1990s my parents bought one of those and believe it or not it’s still runs. So when it was my turn to get one, I didn’t go with any other company but this one. It does exactly what it should with no problems. Hopefully it will last as long as the first one we bought years ago

It’s a great mixer! This one was a Christmas present and she loves it. I have gifted 5 of these mixers now and they all live them. I have had mine since way back in the 80’s and it’s still going strong and I love all the attachments

If you want a great high quality mixer then you should only buy a kitchenaid one. They just seem to get it and I’m so glad I bought this one.

Replaced our 20 year old KitchenAid 6 quart mixer (which was overworked and broke) it’s great to have the newest version that works great and meets expectations. Onward to another 7 recipes for 1,500 cookies, plus other good tasty stuff.

have had this for awhile now and I cannot understand how I ever got along without it! It is now saving us so much money now with attachments we have gotten for it. I HIGHLY recommend getting one! We have the grinder and cheese grater attachment that makes saving more money with the food we get. Blocks of cheese are so much cheaper than already shredded cheese. We make Briskets a lot and shave a TON off of them, we use the grinder to turn those cuts into delicious burger!

I have always enjoyed my KitchenAid mixer. It was time for an upgrade and we love this one too. Only sad moment is it does not come with a "collar" to help with mixing. But the bowl is wider and easy to mix bottom of the batter easily.

Good quality, not cheaply made with plastic parts. My son has been asking for one of these since I purchased one for my daughter at Christmas 2 years ago. Her mixer is still going strong. I hope to purchase one for myself this year.
