    Can't believe it isn't good

    We got the dishwasher and the slide in gas oven. The dishwasher seems fine. The burners on top of the range seem fine. But the oven is slow to heat/bake and seems to bake unevenly. Two repair men so far have said it doesn't seem right but they don't know how to fix it. I hope we find an answer. I thought this was going to be my dream oven so I can't believe it is turning out to be sort of a dud so far.

    Not user friendly - would never buy again.

    Run, don't walk away from this range. I just spent an hour removing the drawer. It takes a screwdriver and at least 4-6 hands. The reason? A plastic handle to a spatter screen I had stored in it MELTED and stuck to the bottom of the range making it impossible to open the drawer. Removing the drawer is a huge chore - what happened to the ones you tipped up and pulled out? The aqua "clean" feature makes me never want to use the oven. The worst feature ever - bring back a self cleaning oven, this isn't 1950! I bought a toaster oven to use most of the time so I don't have to clean it on my hands and knees. I've had Kitchen Aid appliances for over 20 years but due to other problems with fridge I believe they are now inferior products to be avoided.

    2 times and still not a charm

    Saga: 1. First stove installed in July. Floor guys broke glass. Repaired. But should the glass have broken in the first place? Wasn't able to use oven. 2. Finally able to use oven when glass repaired. (after sent wrong door, then another new one). But, heat escaped dramatically and couldn't touch knobs. Huge issue. Unusable. 3. Had stove replaced - brand new one. Oven doesn't work. Internal fixtures not aligned and unable to be fixed. Ridiculous. Have to have stove replaced again. Not going to replace with Kitchen Aid for sure.

    Manifold failed KitchenAid makes no replacement

     my range is beautiful I bought it with two other appliances and had it delivered in June 2021. At Thanksgiving 2023 the turkey never got hot and I realize the oven had stopped working. I had somebody come out and look at it and he said the manifold to the oven was defective and that KitchenAid did not make replacement manifolds and so the oven was basically useless

    Buyer beware!

    This suite of KitchenAid appliances look great, but the performance is dismal. We have had the range about a year and I was disappointed from the start. The performance of the oven is very uneven - everything take much longer than it should to cook, the front panel gets dangerously hot when you have the oven at a high temp, when you turn the timer off, the oven goes off too. What? Was this product tested by people who actually cook? Also, even the stainless steel is of poor quality - I have had stainless in the past, and loved them, but these don't look good, even right after cleaning. If you are a serious or frequent cook, keep looking.

    There is only one simmer burner. The rest are all too high flame and don't go even close to a low setting. If you want more than one pan to be on simmer you don't have that option. Awful option for someone that cooks. If you bump the burners they will turn on but not the flame so gas is leaking out and you may not know that. The black top is impossible to keep clean and it's already scratched after a month of use. The oven takes way too long to preheat. It looks okay except for those red disks on the side that cannot be replaced unless you have the professional models. I'm very disappointed in this range and KA for making it.

    TERRIBLE BEST BUY CUSTOMER SERVICE

    Would give zero stars if possible. This review is about customer service and not actual oven. We were sold an open box marked as “Excellent” condition which means no imperfections. When we unwrapped it at home a corner was crushed, drawer askew, rust on the grates, scratches, etc We payed the higher dollar amount for the “excellent” condition and received the wrong product. We got zero reimbursement or exchange for the proper product. They didn’t even know what had happened so it felt completely u usable. Talking to a person who has any power is impossible. All store numbers are just customer service people who give you staged answers they read off a computer screen. Won’t be buying from Beat Buy ever again

    Hazard

    If you want to eat any meals please DO NOT get this oven or any Kitchenaid product for that matter. The first appliance that was installed was defective, the oven light would not turn off and the oven would not turn on. I called bestbuy and even though I bought the warranty they directed me to a third party to get it fixed. Mind you I only had it for a week and I didn’t even use it yet. Then I get another new unit because who would want a new motherboard on a “brand new” appliance. Fast forward to my second unit, I was cooking using the oven for the first time and 20 minutes left on the timer the oven glass door completely shatters. The heat was on 400 degrees which I think I should be able to cook at that temp. I will be reporting this to the BBB definitely a safety hazard.

    Oven doesn’t work!!

    Very disappointed with KitchenAid brand. Oven doesn’t work only after a little over a year of purchasing. Contacted customer service and they told they couldn’t help me because it’s out of warranty. Apparently this is an ongoing issue for numerous consumers. KitchenAid needs to stop selling faulty products!

    Kitchen aid high price low quality poor

    Just past the one year warranty convention fan that has already been replaced once is failing and rattles. Front burner was replaced under warranty because it leaked gas. Still leaks gas but they would only come out once. Over price pile of crap to top it off dishwasher just failed today. Ice maker on fridge is crap. I wish I could post a video of the noises it makes.

    What a disappointment

    One burner went out shortly after the 5 year warranty expired. Another burner is on its way out. Parts are on back order with no end in sight.

    Not a good oven

    Oven under heats requiring longer times to bake. Then material on door started to peel off. Final straw was oven cooling fan broke requiring service. We’ve had the oven for a little over 2 years and just had to pay ~$200 for repairs because it’s already out of warranty.

    Item was sold as “Open Box Excellent Condition.” When we got the unit home, it had clearly been used for some time, was filthy inside and out, had grates that didn’t belong to this model and was missing all required connectors for conversion to LP. Very deceptive advertising.

    gas leaks at knobs

    If you lean against this range it is possible to turn on the gas without knowing it. Kitchen Aid corporate safety said you can buy plastic covers for the knobs if this happens. Kitchen Aid will not install these. Not happy using plastic knobs not made by Kitchen Aid since this is a safety issue. Twice the house has filled up with gas before we noticed it. I am taking the knobs off and on each time I use the stove.
