The handle is like jewelry. The sides of the piece are not wrapped in stainless (black). I may be impatient and yet the pre-heat seems to take a particularly long time.

I also purchased the matching microwave and refrigerator. Looks great as well as performs well.

The range has all the features and functionality you would find in an over sized Chef's model fitting in the classic cosmopolitan kitchen. Kitchen Aid has the value and sophistication for the most demanding Chef.

It's pricey, but worth it for the overall look.

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The oven take forever to heat up and it takes 30 minutes to cook a frozen pizza when the package says 15-22 minutes. Everything we cook in the over takes almost twice as long whether we use the convection oven or it in the non convection mode. Cooktop works fine. Yesterday I went to bake a meal and it popped the circuit breaker, reset it and it popped again. the cooktop still works. The service team is coming out to look at it. I have owned for 11 month, luckily it is still under facotry warranty.
