The blue enamel in the both ovens is peeling off and was noticed while cleaning before use. The ovens had been turned on ONCE by servicemen demonstrating how to use. I contacted KitchenAid and received an apology and sent me a PDF manual and referenced a page in the manual which by that time I had read the manual and read that it was cosmetic and not covered by warranty. Very disappointing!

I use the top small over every day, and, the large one for special occasions. Another quality Kitchen Aid major appliance. I bought this and matching refrigerator/freezer, and, dishwasher. All slightly more expensive than the competition, but well worth the extra bucks.

So hot in fact, when my husband went to lean over to check controls, he was actually burned. Not enough to go to the doctor, but enough that a child touching it would have definitely gone to a doctor! Anything above 400 and it was obviously even worse! An independent contractor was sent out and said it was personally unacceptable but that ALL ranges get that hot, and the temperature is within the KitchenAid parameters. This was NOT acceptable to us so we returned and purchased a different brand! Best Buy, from sales to service, was wonderful to work with - this was solely a KitchenAid issue.

Never buy the black stove top

Dislike the knobs, already after 1 year one broke , it cracked . Hate the stove top it is never easy to clean. Always looked so messy.
