Especially the stiffer cookie batters & dips with cream cheese. Just to hard on my hands & wrists to stir enough for combining all the ingredients. Mixing is fun again, love it. I got the Artisan series 5 quart in blue willow. The only criticism I have is not with the mixer itself, it’s beautiful & works perfect. The problem is the Pouring Shield that came with it. I’m so glad I didn’t pay extra for it. If it doesn’t come with your mixer, don’t spend the money. I thought it would be a helpful attachment but it’s not. It’s useless and annoying. Mine pops off continuously during the mixing process, gets in the way & no amount of adjusting will keep it on.It’s a great idea, just doesn’t work.

My last mixer lasted 3 years and it was time for a new one that matches my kitchen color. This mixer is larger and I love the splash guard when I am adding the flour. A must have for a baker.
