Love the color and classic look of the mixer. The ease of operation is a plus too!

KitchenAid mixers are the gold standard for home use. We had one for 20 years. It was larger and significantly heavier in part because of the larger, heavy glass mixing bowl so we decided to get this one which is more than adequate. We separately purchased a "flex edge beater" (Amazon in our case - about $20). It's great for mixing dough because it scrapes right off the surface of the metal mixing bowl. If you do that, be sure to order the one for this mixer with the tilt head. Very glad we bought this. Highly recommend it.

Just picture it... it's time to bake the holiday goodies and as I put my hand mixer in the dough for the first batch of cookies, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuurt! *poof!* My good ol' hand mixer dies! I paniced for a split second and then remembered that I have Best Buy just down the street from me so I grab my boyfriend and away we go. Initially I thought I would just pick up another hand mixer, but when I saw the Kitchen Aide stand mixers I told myself that I was going to upgrade this year, especially since we were not going to do gifts this year, I was going to bake and make goodies and cookies for friends and family. So long story short we got the mixer for $284 #after some instant rebate at the store!#, brought it home and I was smitten! I sailed through my bakeing in record time and this mixer was the BEST purchase I had made for my kitchen in a long time!

Great device, all attachments worked perfectly, no issues switching them out, and easy to clean.

I don't know why I waited so long to get myself a stand mixer. Kitchenaid has been the standard for this type of appliance and I can see why. From the moment I started using it, I have a whole new attitiude about baking. This makes everything so much easier to put together. The quality of my baked goods has really improved. My hubby asks me "what are you going to make this week?", and to be honest, I look forward to using it. The color is interesting because it has a bit of a sparkle, and looks fabulous on my kitchen counter. I know I will have this mixer for many years to come. Hooray for me!

Ordered on line and wrong mixer delivered. The replacement mixer blew circuit breaker when turned on. The 3rd mixer has worked so far. Spent much time on the phone and 3 trips to the nearest Best Buy store to resolve the issues to date. No link to sent this review!

Love it...I waited a long time for one of these and with the Best buy price and coupon deal I got it for a great price. Not to mention the rebate offered by Kitchenaid!! This is so much quieter than I ever imagined. I burned out so many hand mixers in the last 2 years with all that I do. This is perfect for cookies, cakes , buttercreams almost anything. I make Pizza dough in it almost every week, so fast. Love it!! I know they are pricey but if you can keep saving your pennies it will be worth it. I waited 15 yrs till I was able to. By then they had so many colors to choose from. :o)

My husband bought this mixer for me and I love it. It is Ink Blue and very attractive on the kitchen counter. It has a large capacity, easy to use and makes the job of making muffins a delight. Can't wait to use it to make my biscotti. I did purchase a pad on which it sits and makes moving the mixer from storage under the cabinets to a workable location on the counter top very easy, no lifting. This is a great product.

I am so disappointed that out of the blue it stopped working and won’t turn back on.

It says that my order has been delivered yesterday. Where? Was I supposed to sign for it? Did they drop it at the door? If they did, :( :( Please help

I’ve dreamed of getting a KitchenAid mixer for so long, and the sale on this was so great, we couldn’t resist after our hand mixer died! Haven’t done any baking with it yet, but I did test it out on some mashed potatoes tonight using both the paddle and whip attachments, and it worked great. My old hand mixer would have struggled with potatoes and this thing just tore through them no problem. It’s so solid and sturdy! The 5 qt bowl is as big as I’ll ever need. Super easy to use. Can’t wait to make some goodies with it for the holidays! The Crystal Blue color happened to be the one on sale, so we got it despite it not looking all that nice in the pictures. But actually in person, it’s gorgeous! Such a beautiful addition to my kitchen. One other note- if you plan to keep this on the counter and have lower cabinets, you may want to measure just to make sure it will fit. It just barely fits under mine. It’s a heavy beast and I don’t think I’d use it as often if I had to lug it out from a lower cabinet.

I got this mixer for my wife for Christmas. She had been wanting a kitchen aid mixer for a few years now. She does a decent amount of baking and this mixer is exactly what she wanted. It is very high in quality and has a wide variety of add-ons that you can purchase. She has used it a couple of times so far and is very happy with it.

This machine was the best christmas gift I could ever receive. It makes life so much easier and I feel like an expert baket. I cant wait to see what masterpieces I can create with this!!

I recently purchased this mixer for my wife's christmas present this past year. She's been asking for a mixer for a long time now, but because of the price, and the fact that i wanted to get her one of the better ones, put off my purchase till i was able to save up a little money. But even for the extra cash spent, i have to say this mixer is worth every penny, i've been eating even better then i have before ever since she opened up the wrapping paper.

I have waited for years and years to get one of these ! It did not disappoint. I absolutely love my mixer and I love love love this blue color !!!!

So happy to have gotten this mixer, was replacing the lift stand model and the tilt head is so much easier to use and clean and it's really pretty on the counter.

This was my first Kitchen Aid Mixer and I am totally in love, I have another professional, but Artisian version is so perfect, TOTALLY LOVE IT. It´s by baby!

I got this for my girlfriend for xmas. We had talked about getting one because we both really like to cook. It's such a great addition to our gadgets. We have still just only scratched the surface of possibilities for this thing but making bread, pizza dough, and other things has been easy and fun. Not to mention it looks gorgeous. I think we'll enjoy using this for years and years but I would think it's only necessary for hardcore cooking enthusiasts. I can't imagine using it to mix brownie batter from a betty crocker box, just seems like a waste. Also, and I'm sure bestbuy won't be happy about this, there are much better prices on these at other websites. I got it from here because I was getting a lot of things to get 0% financing on the credit card

The stand mixer is great. Haven't been able to make bread yet but plan to soon.
