This mixer does a great job with anything you put before it. Mashed potatoes or creamed potatoes ready in a minute. Whipped cream comes out perfect. The top splatter shield is a great feature. The results we've had so far have been great.

I purchased this mixer for my wife. She has always wanted a Kitchen Aid Mixer. They are known for their high quality. Upon delivery, the pour shield was warped and we had to call and have it replaced. Then, about 3 weeks later, the paint/plastic started chipping off the main beater around the neck (an area that doesn't even get near the bowl). It started chipping even though we were hand washing it. That being said, interacting with Kitchen Aid to get the replacements have been great. They were courteous and prompt. We are still waiting on the new beater but it should be here shortly. We also had to adjust the "Factory Settings" as shown in the manual because it wasn't quite getting close enough to the bottom so that it would mix the ingredients thoroughly. It was easy to adjust and the directions were clear. Overall, it seems like a good purchase. Time will tell :)

My wife had a kitchen aid mixer forever! The only thing that ever went wrong with it is the off switch and we fixed that with a plug with an on/off switch! When she got her new kitchen, it was time for a new color!

I have used a Sunbeam stand mixer for the past several years. When I went to use it for Christmas cookies this year I decided I was fed up with the cheap imitation and decided to buy the KitchenAid I had always wanted. I am so happy to have a stand mixer that doesn’t shake all over the countertop! I only wish I had purchased it years ago.
