    We got this mixer to replace a much older (passed down from my parents---maybe 1980s?) Kitchenaid mixer that finally died. The new one has been great. It's everything we loved about the old one but nicer and newer. The finish (we got Imperial Grey) is beautiful. The only minor complaint is that the level for the speed switch is a little sticky, but honestly that's better than it being too loose.
