Since Best Buy had these Kitchen Aid stand mixers on sale, I decided to get one. It’s great since the bowl is held in place and everything seems to mix up better and faster than my several decades old mixer!

We are ready to put some miles on it. We've "borrowed" one for a while, and loved the convenience of the mixer, from cake batter and frosting to shredding chicken - it's the best!

It is easy to use and clean (I strongly recommend handwashing everything), and I am highly satisfied with it.

This is my 3rd machine in 3 years, they either brake down or start shedding metal pieces. The most recent one makes a loud noise while being used. The one my grandmother has is about 15 years old and is very smooth with no noise.
