This is my 3rd machine in 3 years, they either brake down or start shedding metal pieces. The most recent one makes a loud noise while being used. The one my grandmother has is about 15 years old and is very smooth with no noise.

Made pasta with my friend's standing mixer prior to purchasing my own. Have always wanted one and I FINALLY HAVE ONE! EEEEEEK!!!!! Sturdy, can tell it is very well made based on the cheap ones I've had in the past. And great sale price! :)

Solid construction, a quiet but powerful motor and enough colors to match any decor. This is top of the line. My wife has not stopped baking since she got it. Everyone I have talked to that has a Kitchen Aid says they would never buy anything else.
