Kitchenaid never disappoints. This heavy duty mixer was at a steal of a price during holidays and could not turn it down. Very beautiful addition to the kitchen used much more than expected, even the tiniest of blending. I cant wait to get the attachments to really break this in.

We seem to be doing a lot more baking in the house. Having a 4 year old who is always wanting to help makes using a hand mixer not a fun task. We purchased this since it is covered, it not only keeps the mess down, but doesn't allow access for my 4 year old to stick his hand in the bowl while mixing.

I've been looking for this color in a kitchenaid for a long time. 2 down sides for me: 1) The attachment it comes with work very well, but you still have to scrape down the sides periodically, which is sometimes annoying. 2) It is VERY heavy for me! Otherwise, I LOVE my kitchenaid and am very happy with it.
