    Excellent stand mixer

Solid, dependable, easy-to-use, balanced appliance. In the first two weeks, I've used this daily for mixing, whipping, and blending. I've used the whisk, the juicer, the regular paddle, and the scraper paddle. The lock-in-place handled is convenient to make sure there are no accidents. In addition, the lock-in-place makes this stand mixer easier to move and set. Power is great. Low speeds help blend things perfectly. Higher speeds help whisk things into delightful treats. Using, changing, and cleaning attachments has been easy. I've made whipped cream, cheesecake base, pie filling, dough, and a few blended liquids. No problems and no issues so far. Cleanup is easy. This was a replacement for another KitchenAid stand mixer that I had for about 15 years (the old one wore out a seal and started leaking lubricating oil - I could not fix it). The machine is not silent, but it does not make a huge amount or excessive amount of noise. It makes a typical mixer type of noise, with less noise at lower speeds. So far, this has been an excellent replacement and addition to my kitchen. I would buy it again.

Purchased for my wife and she is trilled. Color is perfect and fits perfectly on the counter where the old one sat. (Mixer, not my wife). Only concern is the weight. Wifes weight is fine, just that the mixer is a bit heavy but once you set it up in the general work area it should not be a problem. (Mixer that is). Mixer probably will outlast my wife but you can always pass it on to your kids. (If they learn to cook). Enjoy, you are getting a decent appliance!

Standing Ovation for the Stand Mixer

I love my stand mixer! It really simplifies baking. I scrape the sides only rarely because it manages to mix everything. It is very heavy duty too and doesn't object as I add dry ingredients. Tomorrow I am using it to knead Brioche bread. The mixer is really easy to clean too. It just goes in the dishwasher.

KitchenAid - Artisan Tilt-Head Stand Mixer Copper

The mixer is very sturdy, easy clean, and easy to use. I have NOT had issues with metal flakes or grey showing in my batter as some have said in their reviews, I ensured to wipe the entire machine down before use and made sure to get the nooks and crannies. The packaging was very sturdy (three boxes nested inside of another w/ padding). The mixer is true to color shown in the Ad, but when you try to photograph it looks like little lighter but thats ok . The beater paddle & dough cook came in a nice powder coated gray, instead of the bare metal (which I was happy about), the whisk is metal as it should be. Mixer is very low profile so it fits under my kitchen cabinets. Glass bowl with a handle is the way to go. The color is beautiful and I got a great price (about 270) with warranty. I've wanted one for over 10 years but didn't want to pay a fortune, wanted a pretty color like this, an extended warranty and the Artisan model. So this is the first time I found one that satisfied all of those stipulations. I could go on forever, long story short, best mixer I've ever owned and have no regrets about my purchase what so ever. No compromises! Would recommend over and over.

I was excited to get this mixer. I knew it would open my mind to more baking and new recipes. It was shipped with all the proper pieces and securely packeged in styrofoam. I decided to make homemade mango pies and the dough came out nice and fluffy with an even consistency. I combined all ingredients using each setting. The lowest setting was powerful enough to creme my shortening, sugar and egg mixture. Because this mixer is so heavy, I expected it to make a loud humming noise but it didn't. It wasn't loud at all. It was so easy to tilt the head and then remove and replace the attachments. I didn't have to fight with the bowl to rmove it or to put it back in place. Use of this mixer made everything easier. Not to dim the light on the capabilities of this mixer, but its appearance, sleek, shiny look is an added bonus.

Super easy to clean, kitchen aid has kept to the same designs and parts for decades which makes them super easy to maintain. Don’t bother with the cheaper brands, the price is worth the decade you’ll have it.

After our kitchen remodel and spending over 10 grand for the kitchen appliances, we got some extra reward money to spend. And my wife has a great idea what she wants --- This Kitchenaid - Artisan Series Tilt-head Stand Mixer. And she loves it! This is a powerful mixer and very versatile. The only downside is the weight. It is a little bit too heavy. But on the other head, that is also one of the reason that this mixer can be so stable even with its power.

This is absolutely the best stand mixer you can get for its performance, versatility, and price. I bought this for my wife. It’s a workhorse and saves her plenty of time when she is whipping up cakes, cookies, and creams. Great value especially when you can catch on sale with all attachments. Great customer service.

This mixer is a powerful mixer that can do it all. You can mix dough, batter, and all sorts cream with ease. But it doesn’t stop there!! Simply buy the attachments and viola you’ll be able peel veggies, fruits, and cheese. You can also buy the attachment that will juice veggies and fruits. I actually purchased 2 mixers. One for my daughter and the other for my niece.

I purchased this as a gift for my wife and I've benefitted greatly. The large capacity and ease of use means that it's used often. It's relatively quiet (compared to the old KitchenAid mixer my mom had). And the clean up is easy (that part is my job). So it's big, it's efficient, and it's easy to use. The ONLY issue is that you'll want to clear a space in a cupboard or your pantry for it *before* it arrives or it'll live on your kitchen counter. It is big.

Kitchenaid KSM150PSWH Has the same power as the big lift model I had. Does everything the bigger one does but with a smaller footprint on the counter. Fantastic for home use. Better for home use than the bigger one with the lift. The lift bowl model has a bowl that does not taper down so batters, Whipping cream, etc are too low in the bowl and take forever to mix/whip. No so with this one. This smaller version has a bowl that tapers so the whipping cream, eggs for meringue, etc whip up quickly. Love this machine. I highly recommend the higher 325 motor if you want to make bread or mix thick cookie dough. Don't get the lift model unless you make large batches. In that case, the lift modelwould be better. For normal family use, the non lift model is great.

The Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer is a game-changer in my kitchen. Its sleek design adds a touch of elegance, and the tilt-head feature makes ingredient addition a breeze. With a generous 5-quart capacity, it handles large batches effortlessly. The variety of speed settings is impressive, ensuring precision in every recipe. The build quality is top-notch, showcasing durability and reliability. The included attachments, from the dough hook to the wire whip, deliver consistently excellent results. While it's an investment, the performance and versatility of this mixer make it worth every penny for anyone passionate about baking.

    Beautiful Christmas Gift for Daughter!

This mixer is the OG—the gold-standard, and I was happy to purchase it as a Christmas present for my daughter<3 She is very excited that attachments can be added (icecream bowl, pasta maker, etc.). If you are going to buy a lifetime appliance, buy the best (and Christmas Red will always remind her of her Mama’s love for her : ) Now she has asked me to come over and teach her how to make some of her favorite Christmas cookies, so win/win! Mine was passed down to me from my mother, but since I’m still using it, I had to get my girl one of her own. Many happy memories of cooking with this kitchen workhorse—Bon Appetit!

Clearly the standard for home mixers. it is big and heavy so perhaps not needed for casual use, but if you like being in the kitchen this is the one to have.

My wife says that it is not only atheistically pleasing to the ye but it functions very well. It is quiet, easy to use and has multiple speeds. This is our first mixer ever owned, and we went with KitchenAid brand due to the strong reputation of durability. Heres to many years of fresh baked goods to come.

Don’t waste your money on this mixer

I purchased this model and it was delivered last week. I went to make bagels (using 3 1/2 cups of flour) and the machine stopped kneading. The motor runs but the attachments don’t spin. The locking mechanism did not work and kept popping up while mixing, and the lever to switch speeds was so tight and difficult to move. I had previously owned a KitchenAid Artisan stand mixer for 21 years and replaced it with this newer model. Unfortunately, it’s crap. Best Buy is sending out a new mixer. Hopefully the new mixer will work. Best Buy Customer Service was great!
