I've Always Wanted One

I had to make-do with hand mixing or a hand held electric mixer, which is fine for somethings, but not everything. I am thrilled with my mixer and with the holiday baking season right around the corner, I am ready!

Disappointed

I've used this a quite a bit since purchase and it works...most of the time. It really seems to struggle with thicker pastry doughs to the point you worry about a motor burning out. I find myself still kneading by hand to avoid the headache. If you plan on working with heavier doughs, go with a stronger model.

Great mixer for the light baker

Didn't realize how important the wattage was making breads or dough recipes. Can handle making a batch but you can feel how hot the motor gets when done. May need to upgrade to something more powerful but should do the job perfectly for cookies, icing, etc...

Larger bowl size is a must for those of us with a family/large gatherings to cook and bake for. Color availability at Best Buy was a pleasant surprise and is really one of the best available selections I could find.
