Everything is great about this product, except value for money. It is costlier/priced bit high with just two default attachments. I still love it though due to the day to day use and ease it provides for different purposes

Last month I cleaned it up and gave it to my oldest daughter, still going strong. I purchased a new Blue colored Artisan, the next level up in power. Not to much has changed in the construction. I can use the attachments for the front with it that I already have. The beaters seem to be made with a different type of coating- thinner and harder, and they may last just fine. I am, however, disappointed in the way the beaters attach to the neck. The old machine snapped them in and held them very solidly- now the connection is not sized as precisely and the beaters have play/wiggle room, and so shift back and forth as they're mixing. Not a huge degree, but sloppy. It seems it would enable wearing. We'll see. I love it anyway. Maybe you can't expect an item made in 2016 to be as well made as one from 1997.

Love the KitchenAid Mixer!

I don't cook much and rarely bake so not even sure what made me purchase the mixer. I LOVE IT. I do a million things with it. It is easy to clean up and fun to use. I've made cakes, homemade frosting, pancakes, mix all kinds of stuff for casseroles, eggs, dressings, etc. I get it - this mixer is COOL and GREAT TO USE!
