Yes, they're expensive, but there's a reason KitchenAid mixers are so coveted. This model has a glass bowl, which is great to be able to see the dough/batter/etc. as it's being mixed.

Very sturdy, it should last a long time. It is very heavy though.

We proudly display this mixer on the kitchen counter as a work of art. It is just gorgeous. Plus, you can make food with it. We've made pancakes, whipped eggs, and made bread with it in the few days we've owned it. Great plans for it in the future. Can't wait to get the pasta making attachments.

Very excellent item ,you can use in multifunctions

Everything works good but when I opened it the pouring shield was broke. Don't even know where to start to let someone know that and to get a new one.

Like many people I started baking during Covid-19 and this definitely made everything easier. Cleanup is a breeze because of the stainless steel hardware. Also I was able to find a color that matched my kitchen, just a bonus.

Mixer was delayed a week and seeing it was a Christmas present this was a bit frustrating.

The mixer jumps while kneading..... have to hold the tilt lock or the top down while kneading my dough. Any suggestion from expert users?

Having the handle on the bowl is a big help, and the biggest reason I purchased this mixer. Great color. Very happy.

My wife had an older model that failed and wanted another one so got her one for her birthday she really likes it and can use her older accessories.

So far happy about this purchase. Bought it as a birthday gift for my mother and has said nothing but good things.

This mixer works perfectly on all my recipes. The only down side is it's really heavy, but would definitely recommend it to others.

I gave it a low rating because initially when I had bought this it was delivered to my elderly neighbor across the street. Contacted best buy that I had not received any package, they were quick to respond and send a new one. A couple days later, I received a note from my neighbor's caretaker that there was a package for me. Cancelled the new replacement order. That being said, that experience was not pleasant. As for the mixer itself, for the price it is not worth the hype. It simply does not mix my ingredients well (always have to use a spatula to move the bottom ingredients). I barely use it, it's like a big bulky dinosaur on my kitchen countertop that reminds me I spent almost 300 on crap. I often opt out for the whisk and a regular kitchen bowl because it's faster than having to deal with unmixed mixtures and then cleaning a lot of pieces. Don't choose boysenberry, I don't know what I was thinking! Not close to a maroon color or any other shade of purple. It will stick out in your kitchen like a sore thumb. The only good use left would be to get accessory attachments but I'm sure I can find more reliable products that would function the same at a lower cost.

KitchenAid is a great product but i feel this mixer had a hiccup, the speed lever is so hard to move from speed to speed or gets stuck, hopefully it changes as i use it more often.
